1) Third Handwriting Olympiad 2012

Handwriting has an important role to play in shaping the academics and professional career of a student. To provide the right platform to every student and to understand the importance of handwriting, ‘WRITE’, an institute of handwriting technology and a division of Master Mind Private Ltd. Indore, organised third handwriting Olympiad 2012 at Ryan International School, Bhondsi on 1^st October 2012. The competition was open for class IV to XII. Total number of participants including Category A (IV to VII) and Category B (VIII to XII) were 97. The written sheets were sent to the concerned authorities at Indore for evaluation. The handwriting experts analysed the results based on the parameters of evaluation like legibility, neatness, flow (pen stroke) uniformity, connectivity, angles, and font formation. The overall result of the competition is very encouraging. In Category a Poornima of class VII D has been declared as the state champion and second in the handwriting Olympiad 2012. She is awarded with cash prize of Rs.3000/- alongwith trophy and certificate. Sarbani Ganguly of VII E is second at school level and Anamika Chandra of VII D is the third. In Category B  Megha Narayanan of IX A is at the first position, Shreya Kulshreshtra is second and Ruchika Bachani bagged the third position. Certificate of participation along with corrective advices by experts is awarded to all the participants of handwriting Olympiad to help in adding quality to their writing. 2) National Creativity Olympiad

  We are proud to announce that under the able guidance of Chairman Sir, Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto, Shubhankar Biswas of class X-E of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon has brought laurels to the school by bagging All India Rank 2nd in National Creativity Olympiad held at IIT, Delhi on December 8th 2012. 1) State Level Skating Championship

Salute to the invincible spirit of Indian women at #RIO2016. Love how the meaning of ‘Fight Like A Girl’ changing for the better! Keeping up the spirit is our very own Miss Megha Bishth of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, who won the gold and silver medal at 51st Haryana School State Tournament, Rohtak from 9th September to 11th September, 2016 under the category of U-19 girls. By making this mark she has now qualified for the Nationals. Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma, staff members and all the students congratulated Megha for her achievement. We wish her all the best for her future endeavours.

2) ESPERENZA’14

16 commerce students of class-XI went for Esperenza’14 held at Ryan International School, Rohini. Various activities namely HAM (half a minute), Ad-Mad, advertising, PPT presentation, poster making and business magazine cover designing. Roshni, Himanshu, Pulkit and Aayush won the 3rd prize in Ad-Mad Competition. It was an enriching experience for the students.

3) CBSE NORTH ZONE II SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

Hanna Malhotra of Class VIII A won a gold in 100 m freestyle, silver in 100 m breaststroke and 50 m breaststroke at CBSE NORTH ZONE II SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP, held at DPS, Rohtak from 12th to 14th September. She has qualified to participate in these events in CBSE Nationals to be held in October at Vadodra.

Ryan Group was awarded the Most Promising Brand (Education) in India.Award at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi on 24th July 2015. The awards were organised by 24 MRC (Media Research Corporation Network) and included eminent names like Mr Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Ex M.P Uttarakhand and BJP member, Mr VIjay Sati, National Convener, Panchayati Raj and Mr Zulficar Ali Mumtaz, President, 24 MRC.

To enliven his dream, Volleyball team of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon participated in Inter Ryan Volleyball Tournament held at Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj on 14-10-2016 under the category of U-18 boys and won the match against Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj by the score 15/11. The first round of the match was played between Ryan International School, Sohna Road and Ryan International School, Rohini. Where Ryan International School, Sohna Road won by the score 15/9. Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma congratulated the team for bagging first position in the tournament.

7) NATIONAL FINANCE OLYMPIAD

10 Students namely Pranay, Maarc , Rishika , Surbhi, Tanmay , Pranika, Mansi, Swarnika Dhingra  , Shreya  and  Akash of Ryan International School, Sohna Road from classes IX-XII have qualified National finance Olympiad , Second Round and appeared for NFO Regional Round held at Greater Kailash.

8) Kho Kho Tournament

Respected Chairman Sir Dr. A.F. Pinto has always motivated the students to achieving higher goals. Enliving by this, students of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon participated in Kho Kho Tournament under two categories, U-14 Boys and U-16 Boys. Wherein U-14 boys team won the match against Ryan International School, Rohini and U-16 boys Kho Kho team stood second in the match. Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma felicitated the winners and motivated other students also to strive for such accolades.  

9) Skating Championship

Our Chairman Sir has always supported and promoted all round development. With this inspiration our young Ryanite, Hritik Chawla of class-IXE has made the Ryan banner fly high by bringing laurels to our school. He participated in the CBSE North Zone II Championship which was held at RKP Senior Secondary School, Rohtak from 7^th October to 10^th October. He participated in the Boys Under-16 category and won a gold medal in the 5km Road Race and a silver medal in 500m Sprint Rink Race. He has qualified for the CBSE Nationals to be held at Sonepat from 17^th to 20^th November, 2014. Principal Ms. Rashmi Prakash felicitated Hritik during school assembly and motivated other students also to strive for such accolades.

11) Education World Awards 2014

The Ryan International Group of Institutions was honoured with Six Awards for their continuing efforts in providing quality education at the Education World 2014 Awards held at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi. The Ryan Global School, Mumbai was awarded for being ranked in the Top 10 in the Best International School category in India while the Ryan International Schools at Jaipur, Surat, Shahjahanpur, Ludhiana and Nasik were felicitated for being among the best schools in their respective cities. In addition to this, the group had a total of 37 schools in the Best Schools of India in various categories. The Ryan Schools have distinguished themselves by their focus on academic excellence and all-round development.The Awards were received by the CEO, Mr. Ryan Pinto and Director Ms Snehal Pinto.

12) 9th Maharaja Dr. Karni Singh Memorial Shooting Competition, Jaipur

Manish Bamla of class-XI and Sagar Khatana of class-IX of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon brought laurels to school by winning 1st & 2nd positions (TEAM) in   in Youth Category (Under 16) in the event AIR PISTOL .177 held between 23rd July’15 to 26th July’15. Around 1500 students participated in the event out of which around 350 participants were there in the category under-16. Manish Bamla, showing extra ordinary efforts won Silver medal in Individual Shooting Championship. Principal, Ms. Rakhi Verma, applauded the efforts of both the students and motivated them to earn more achievements in life.

14) Hanna Malhotra , Our Swimming Champion Selected For Nationals

Hanna Malhotra , an upcoming swimming champion has qualified for Nationals after winning 1 gold in 4x 100 Medlay Relay, 2 silver medals in 50 & 100 m  breast stroke and 1 bronze in 100 m butterfly in Open State Swimming Championship. On 19th November. Principal Rashmi Praksh felicitated her in the assembly and congratulated her on this commendable laurel. Hanna expressed her gratitude to respected Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. 28) Swimming Championship

Hanna Malhotra of class-IXA and Yardaan Malhotra of class-VIIIB of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon won the coveted prizes in the inter-district swimming championship held at Ambala. Hanna has become State Champion by bagging gold medals in 400mtrs and 800mtrs free style strokes and is going to represent Haryana in National Championship. Yardaan has bagged two bronze medals in 200mtrs and 4x100mtrs respectively. Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma congratulated shining sports stars of the school.

30) INTER HOUSE ECONOMICS QUIZ COMPETITION

Ryan International School , Sohna Road , Gurgaon organized a quiz competition for economics students of class XI. The quiz was conducted in two rounds Buzzer Round and Rapid Fire Round related to economics and current affairs. Indira Gandhi House bagged the first position. Ms. Rashmi Prakash Congratulated all the participants for sharpening their quizzing skills and enhancing their intellect.

31) Resonance 2014

 

Ryan International School, Sohna Road participated in ‘Socioquest’ quiz of the event “Resonance 2014” hosted by Ryan International School, Noida. Tanmay Betrabet, Kartik Sharma and Adarsh Gupta of Class-IX qualified in the top four teams and showed their knowledge and intelligence in cracking the quiz and emerging as the top team of the competition. Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon bags second position in Inter Ryan Cricket Tournament The young cricketers from our school, fulfilling the vision of our Chairman Sir who always visualises every Ryanite as an Olympian, bagged 2nd position in Inter Ryan Cricket Tournament held in Ryan International School, Greater Noida on 29-10-2014. Eight teams were a part of this tournament. Our team gave an excellent performance and reached the second position. Best Batsman Award was given to Shashwat Divakar from XII-E. The team comprised of Sarthak, Shashwat, Devansh, Anuj, Shubham, Pranav, Vansh, Gaurav, Sahej and Amal. 2) Asia’s Best Education Award in K12 category from WCRC

Ryan International Group of Institutions was named as Asia’s BEST Private Education Institute in the K12 Category, at the recently held WCRC Leaders Asian Education Excellence Summit & Awards. The process advisors and evaluators for this were KPMG.

While accepting the award on the behalf of the group, Mr. Ryan Pinto, CEO, said, “I thank Jesus Christ Almighty for this recognition. It is the vision & leadership of our Chairman, Dr. AF Pinto,& MD, Madam Grace Pinto and the hard work of our teams that enable us to be awarded with such recognition. The biggest private education institutes and the top of the league academicians from across Asia were all present at the event, held in New Delhi at the ITC Sheraton Hotel. The event took place on the backdrop of the January 2014 issue of WCRC Leaders-Asia magazine, which has a special cover feature on Asia’s 100 Best & Fastest Growing Private Education Institutes. KPMG in India has been the process advisor and evaluator for the research survey.

The event started in the afternoon with PRIMESPEAK, a series of panel discussion sessions, themed around “Education Creates Leaders”. Her continuous effort in strengthening the living standard of the elderly people in association with HelpAge India was applauded by all.
