Third Handwriting Olympiad 2012
Handwriting has an important role to play in shaping the academics and professional career of a student. To provide the right platform to every student and to understand the importance of handwriting, ‘WRITE’, an institute of handwriting technology and a division of Master Mind Private Ltd. Indore, organised third handwriting Olympiad 2012 at Ryan International School, Bhondsi on 1
st October 2012. The competition was open for class IV to XII. Total number of participants including Category A (IV to VII) and Category B (VIII to XII) were 97. The written sheets were sent to the concerned authorities at Indore for evaluation. The handwriting experts analysed the results based on the parameters of evaluation like legibility, neatness, flow (pen stroke) uniformity, connectivity, angles, and font formation. The overall result of the competition is very encouraging. In Category a Poornima of class VII D has been declared as the state champion and second in the handwriting Olympiad 2012. She is awarded with cash prize of Rs.3000/- alongwith trophy and certificate. Sarbani Ganguly of VII E is second at school level and Anamika Chandra of VII D is the third. In Category B Megha Narayanan of IX A is at the first position, Shreya Kulshreshtra is second and Ruchika Bachani bagged the third position. Certificate of participation along with corrective advices by experts is awarded to all the participants of handwriting Olympiad to help in adding quality to their writing.
