SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON R. K. LAXMAN

IMG_2077 A special assembly was conducted by IX B to pay a rich tribute to R. K. Laxman, a legendary Indian cartoonist, illustrator, and humorist who is best known for his creation The Common Man and for his daily cartoon strip, “You Said It” in The Times of India, which started in 1951. The assembly began with prayer and prayer songs. The contribution of R. K. Laxman and his creation and depiction of a common man who has witnessed every change in society and has survived every upheaval – political and social was presented by the students. A quiz was also conducted based on his cartoons, career, awards and acclaims. Aanchal, Shirsha, Akshita, Diksha were a part of this presentation.
