Eric Hoffer, an American philosopher has beautifully said, “Children are the keys of paradise.” Children are the precious gifts the almighty god has given. They are the wealth of nation. This expression was marvelously showcased in the special assembly conducted by the teachers on the occasion of Children’s Day and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pt, Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, for his genuine affection and concern for children. A special assembly was conducted to celebrate the glory of this day, the programme began with the Bible reading followed by Lord’s Prayer and Special Prayer for the children. Prayer and worship songs were sung soulfully by the teachers spread musical aroma all around. A value based enactment by the teachers stole the show which depicted joy, playfulness, strong bonding and sincerity seen in the childhood stage . The amphitheatre resounded with the thunderous applause by the students for their teachers. The enthusiastic efforts by the Montessori teachers were discernible who exhibited their innermost joys on this occasion, through rhymes and enactment for junior students. Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma read the message of Chairman Sir and Managing Director Madam in the assembly and conveyed their best wishes to the students. In her address she inspired the students to come up to the expectations of their parents and teachers and always show gratitude to the elders and blessed them with a healthy, long and successful life ahead.
