Upholding the school’s motto of ‘Excellence in Education and All-round Development’ and Chairman Sir, Dr. A. F. Pinto’s vision of LEADERSHIP, the Fourth Edition of Ryan MUN 2016 was organized at Ryan International School, Sohna Road. The two day conference stood host to 20 schools from Delhi and NCR. Six committees were simulated, namely, General Assembly, Nuclear Suppliers Group, Security Council, Human Rights Council, Mountbatten Plan and League of Nations. Secretary General, Priyam Mahajan declared the session open and conveyed his best wishes to all the delegates. The conference truly did provide a wonderful platform for all the students to showcase their organisational and debating skills. It provided them with a global perspective and was aimed at creating future leaders of tomorrow. Professor Arun Mohanty, (Professor, Eurasian Studies, Jawahar Lal Nehru University) was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony. He gave away the awards and inspired the students with his motivating words. The Principal, Ms. Rakhi Verma, congratulated the students on their success. This was indeed a holistic learning experience for all the participants, who will definitely lead the world to a better tomorrow, where peace and harmony will be the common religion and unity and brotherhood will be the nationality.
