Mothers always play a special role in each of our lives. Their unconditional love, support and the feeling of a security blanket around us is unmatched and keeping this in mind Ryan International School organized warm and affectionate morning especially for them. It was a day in school to celebrate mother’s love. The Montessori and Primary wing of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon celebrated Mother’s Day to show their respect and express gratitude towards their mothers. On the occasion, mothers were invited for the musical morning which was symbolic of the various hues of life and joy. The students put up a great show expressing their love for their mothers. Tiny tots came up with a presentation to convey gratitude to their moms for their unconditional love. Montessori students presented a mesmerizing dance performance while students of grade-1 presented a soulful medley songs dedicated to all moms. Grade-2 students enchanted the moms with a beautiful peacock dance which was applauded by one and all. The event was presided over by Ms. Monika Chugh, an accomplish textile designer, who has worked with famous brands like Satya Paul, Tarun Tahailiani, Ritu Kumar and Gaurav Gupta and recently as launched her own brand named ‘Mori Kriti’.
Various competitions were organized for the moms like Ms. Matchomania Fashion Show, Singing Lullabies, Ikebana and making yummy tiffins. The winners were acknowledged and awarded on the stage. A vote of thanks was given by the Principal Ms. Rakhi Verma.
