My Country! My Pride’ My Independence ! My Right.


 Every Independent India of our country is in full zeal and vigour as we are celebrating 68th Independence Day of our country. Ryan believes in celebrating all the festivals in a different way. So 15th August was the day meant for celebration with a bright sky, full of kites of tricolor the celebration began with tree plantation, as the Ryan has the motto of clean and brighter India. The chief guest Brig.S.S.Chohan was felicitated with a badge and a potted plant, and the students welcomed all the guests in five different languages. Balloons, kite, costumes, everything around gave the event a patriotic fervour as the teacher as well were dressed up in tri colour. Students of primary wing presented a patriotic  medley , which was well applauded. Winners of Inter House singing competition – Indira Gandhi House presented a melodious and well synchronized musical medley and Vikas of class XII-D stole the show by his locking and popping moves. Ryan believes in preparing the future leaders of tomorrow. Monitors from primary wing till class XII were awarded with the monitor’s badge to accomplish a sense of responsibility in them.   Ryanites of middle wing staged a play which highlighted the struggle for Independence and plight of the country at that time. Every eye got numb with nostalgia , remembering the sacrifices our country made to gain the independence. To light up the gloomy mood rock band stole everyone with their foot stomping performance. Principal Dr. Mouna applauded the efforts made by the students and congratulated everyone on the occasion of 68th Independence Day celebration, she also highlighted the significance of Independence. Bhavya Taneja , speaker of the Council delivered a vote of thanks showing gratitude. Programme ended with the school anthem and tricolor hoisting high in the sky with pride.
