HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATION

hindi diwas The School marked the Hindi Diwas on 14th September by organizing a special assembly on the occasion. The celebration once again proclaimed Hindi as the national language of Democratic India and people’s love for their mother tongue. The guests of honour Dr. Yogesh Vashisth (State Head of All India Literature Council) and Mrs. Tanu Bhardwaj (Language Expert – SCERT) graced the momentous occasion. Keeping in sync with the Ryan tradition, the guests along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma, planted Neem and Ashoka saplings in the school premises. The guests were welcomed by the enthusiastic students with a melodious song and a heartfelt welcome speech. This was followed by a skit in Hindi on the topic ‘ Hindi ka Navjivan’ by the little buds from class II. The skit emphasized the need to revive the love for language amongst the masses. The foot tapping dance by the energetic troupe of dancers from class I added warmth to the day’s celebration and reemphasized their love for the Hindi language. The students from class III then declamed on the topic ‘Hindi, Hamare Mathe ki Bindi’ to express their respect for the mother tongue and the desire to make it the most widely used language in the entire world.The pique of the assembly was the ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’ presented by the young poets from classes IV and V. The superb recitation of the amazingly humorous poems mesmerized the audience and left them craving for more. The school reverberatedwith the soft giggles and joyful laughters of the audience. The young Ryanites then beautifully chanted the dohas of the great poets Kabir and Rahim and even explained the meanings which revealed their affinity for poetry. Students also presented a graceful Rajasthani folk dance on the occasion highlighting India’s rich culture and heritage. Students of classes VI to VIII also demonstrated their love for Hindi in a Heart warming way and pledged to help it grow and become popular. The guests were overwhelmed to see the endeavours of the students praised them wholeheartedly. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma appreciated the efforts put in by each and every student and motivated them to follow Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s vision of preserving the country’s rich culture, which includes the varied languages, and the mother tongue Hindi.
