Celebrated Children’s Day

CHILDREN'S DAY The School celebrated Children’s Day with great pomp and splendour on 16th November 2015. Children being the God’s great creation and the true messengers of peace and harmony deserve a grand celebration to celebrate the childhood and so the teachers and school head conducted a special assembly to celebrate the marvelous occasion. The day began by thanking the Lord Almighty for the wonderful gift of children and their innocence. The teachers also prayed for the good health and bright future of every child as they behold the future of the country. The children were entertained and were motivated to donate goodies to the underprivileged children through a well staged skit by the talented group of teachers. This was followed by a parody of peppy songs which got the children singing along melodiously in tune with their teachers. The foot tapping music put the students in a frenzy of enthusiasm and the school echoed with their bubbly laughter and cheerful singing. The audience also witnessed a small presentation on Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru in the form of a ‘Talk Show’ which was followed by a quiz where the young Ryanites answered a few questions related to their beloved Chacha Nehru. Teachers of classes I and II also presented a Dance Drama that highlighted the importance of discipline in students’ life. The teachers from Montessori wing then staged a skit to tell the students all about the important events that occurred in the life of India’s First Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and how he worked relentlessly for the freedom and growth of the nation. On the special occasion our honourable Chairman Dr. A.F.Pinto and managing Director Madam Grace Pinto sent their warm wishes for the future leaders of tomorrow to motivate them and guide them to lead a life of dignity and success with all the richness of good values. The class teachers distributed cards, sweets and goodies among the students in their respective classes and engaged them in fruitful enjoyable and funfilled activities. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma urged the children to follow the footsteps and the path shown by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and strive to accomplish any task with their heads held high.
