MONTESSORI GRADUATION CEREMONY
Ryan International School, Sector 40, Gurugram held it’s Annual Graduation day Ceremony for the tiny tots of Montessori at Epicenter, Apparel House, Sector-44, Gurugram with much grandeur and aplomb. The passing out ceremony was a reflection of the hard work and dedication put in by the Montessori children to take the next step in their education. The event primarily marked the Graduation Ceremony of the students from Montessori III and showcased the talent of the little angels that is nurtured and redefined by the institution during their formative years. It also was an occasion to recognize the achievers from the Montessori wing for their excellence in various fields. The event was graced by the presence of some eminent guests: Dr. Uma Sharma (Padmabhushan & Padma Shree, Kathak Performer), Mr. Siddhartha Sharma (Vice President & National Head, Fliplearn.com(Educomp), Mr. Manoj Kumar (D.G.M, Bharti Airtel Ltd), Mrs. Deepa Antil (Social Worker), Vineeta Jerath (Chief Editor of Suburb), Jessica Walia (Journalist), Shri. Om Prakash Narwal (Superintendent of Police, IPS), Mr. Rajeswara Rao (Director, Govt. Petroleum & Gas board), Arjun Awardee Mr. Raj Kumar Sangwan (Indian Boxing team selector), C.M Misra (Wing Commander), Ms. Madhu Azad (Mayor, Gurugram), Mr. Amit Nehra (Media), Dr. Praveen Kumar, IAS (Secretary to Govt., Haryana, Director General, Archaeology Museums and Archives, Haryana), Mr. A.K. Singh (BSF, Commandant Officer), Mrs. Manju (Bureau Chief in Public Asia News Paper), Mr. Mahendra Singh (Chief Editor Naya Khulasa). The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through the Bible Reading, Special Prayer and Prayer songs. The prayer songs sung by the Montessori students gave the place a sacred aura. This was followed by extending a warm welcome to the revered guests and parents. The entire ceremony revolved around the theme ‘Children Around the World’ which was brewed with the help of an enchanting skit that had, children’s favourite, Aladdin and his friends. The theme strongly conveyed that a concerted and united effort of people is required to spread happiness and create a world that knows oneness, peace and brotherhood. As the theme advanced the little toddlers from Montessori wing rocked the stage with their captivating dance performances on foot tapping songs. They twirled and waltzed to celebration dance Al-Habibi and Rajasthani dance. The Ryan Orchestra also showcased its talent with a rhythmic performance. It was a proud moment for Mstr. Darsh Bangur and Ms. Abigail Judith (Show-I), Mstr. Aarav Sharma and Ms. Kiara Mahajan (Show-II), Mstr. Ezekiel Valentino and Ms. Parina Singh (Show-III) when they, in the presence of their parents, were crowned with the most coveted titles: Ryan Prince and Princess respectively. They were felicitated with the titles for being the most outstanding students in every sphere. Dressed in black gowns and caps with tassels, little toddlers from Montessori III were very excited to receive their passing out degrees to Grade-1. It was a moment of sheer joy for the parents who watched their little darlings hold the scrolls firmly in their hands. Trophies and certificates were also bestowed upon the deserving achievers from Montessori I, II and III for excellence in various fields. . The splendid show ended with the ‘Grand Finale’ where the students presented a skit ‘Bee world where they expressed their determination to create a world that knows no boundaries and where love and peace prevails in every heart. A heartfelt gratitude was extended to the distinguished guests for their presence, the parents for their co-operation and to Chairman Sir Dr. Augutsine Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto for their guidance, motivation and encouragement to dream big and be the leaders of tomorrow. The esteemed guests appreciated the efforts put in by the tiny tots and motivated them to work hard with sincerity, faith, dedication and perseverance to fulfill their dreams. The ceremony saw the Montessori students give rhythmic and captivating performances that showcased their spirit to work hard and steady determination to build a better world. It also proclaimed Chairman Sir’s vision of nurturing righteous ‘Kings and Queens’ of tomorrow. The event helped the Ryanites to once again renew their pledge and stay committed to their dream of erasing distances and differences and nourishing compassion, benevolence, peace and patriotism in every heart. -

Respected Managing Director Madam's B'day Celebration
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurugram celebrated Respected Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto’s birthday with much splendor and grandeur. The vibrant decoration of colorful balloons and dazzling streamers along with cheerful and smiling faces added to the day’s joy and gaiety. The school had organized a special assembly to mark the occasion. The event began by evoking God’s blessings and thanking him for his endearing grace upon the beloved Managing Director Madam. The children mellifluously sang five prayer song and birthday song with smiling faces and joy in their hearts. Students apprised the audience with the long list of glorious achievements accomplished by our multi faceted and dedicated Director Madam. The students of class V presented a Nukkad Natak on ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and motivated the Ryanites to follow their dreams and strive hard to achieve all that their heart desires. They motivated the students to follow Director Madam’s example and work with dedication and commitment for the betterment and upliftment of the society. This was followed by a declamation on the topic ‘The Most Inspiring Woman of 21st century whom I idolize’, wherein the students emphasized the fact that determination and relentless effort can help accomplish exalted goals in life. The cabinet and coordinators of the school took the noble step of visiting Kanhai Village and conducted a role play on ‘Leadership’. The students were touched to meet and interact with the small children and they inspired them to be a great leader like our Managing Director Madam. School Head Ms. Nisha Sharma also conveyed her heartfelt wishes to Director Madam and appreciated the efforts put in, to celebrate the glorious day. She urged everyone to derive inspiration from her vision and get motivated by her exemplary work in every field. -

FLOWER SHOW
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurugram, organized a colourful and vivacious display of exuberant variety of flowers in its annual 'Flower Show' which marked the advent of the season of bloom - the spring season. The flower show boasted of exotic flowers of striking and vivid colours. The colourful beauties, evocative of balmy winters, made the school premises vibrant. The prismatic blooms of Calendula, Daisy, Chamomile, Erigeron, Sun flower, Dandelions and Dahlia were arranged in an interesting fashion depicting the name 'Ryan' which added a picturesque beauty to the day. The flower show was judged by Mrs. Yogita Dheer (BJP Secretary, District Gurugram). The dazzling entries of flower show were judged on the basis of health and appearance of plant. The 1st position was bagged by Joanna of class-II A, 2nd position was bagged by Nimita-Mont II-D, 3rd position was bagged by Rudran-Mont II-A and consolation prize was won by Sulagna-II-E. The deserving winners were duly applauded by all. -

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurugram celebrated the 69th Republic Day with all its solemnity and grandeur. The event showcased the pride taken in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of democracy and unity. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children indulged in a plethora of activities designed to mark the national occasion. The activities commenced right from the beginning of the month when the students wrote their wish on a Tricolour cutout of a flag on the topic ‘My India My Pride’ to embellish the Wishing Tree in their classrooms. A plethora of activities were organized for the Montessori students to enhance the glory of this auspicious occasion. They crafted beautiful handwork like peacocks, tricolor fans, tricolor kites and many more which were displayed in their classes. Class M-I organized an activity “Leaders of the Nation” where the young Ryanites played the role of some of Country’s greatest Leaders. Students of Class M-II exhibited their oratory skills when they confidently spoke about our National Symbols. While M-III students represented the different Indian states and their culture. Students of Class M- III gave a splendid dance performance demonstrating the different colours of India. Class II also declamated on the topic ‘Mera Savidhaan’ to apprise the students about our constitution. Young patriots from class III drew the National Symbols of our country on A4 size sheets and proudly displayed them in their classes. Ryanites from class IV declamated on the topic ‘Rights and Duties go hand in hand’ and emphasized that before we claim our rights we must render our duties towards the nation. Ryanites from class V learnt about the Preamble of our Constitution and wrote it in their scrapbook. Further, class V participated in a Role Play competition, wherein they came dressed as the freedom fighter that inspires them the most. The celebration was at its peak on 26th January when the school organised a special assembly to mark the 69th Republic Day. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Aseem Vyas (DIG, BSF), Mr. Sumit Kuwatra (Inspector BSF , International Medalist in Judo) started in patriotic ambience with prayers rendered for our country’s progress, unity and security along with 5 prayer songs. The guest of honour Mr. Aseem Vyas (DIG, BSF) along with the School Head Ms. Nisha Sharma hoisted the National flag. The cabinet members, the Cubs and Bulbuls and the four houses, namely: Mahatama Gandhi house, Indira Gandhi house, Jawaharlal Nehru house and Sarojini Naidu house saluted and pledged themselves to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness of their Nation. Further, the young Ryanites, added to the patriotic fervour with a dance performance called ‘Mash Up Performance’ and got the audience grooving. The skit ‘Proud to be Indian’ was well received and applauded. The skillful Ryanites proved their talent on wheels with an enchanting Skating performance. The assembly and all the performances were deeply appreciated by the guests who encouraged the Ryanites to put forth their best in everything they do. The day also honoured the achievers from class II for the academic year (2016-17). The achievers were felicitated for their hard work & commitment in various fields. The celebration was a reflection of India’s cultural diversity and the melange of activities conducted created an atmosphere of national pride. The extravaganza highlighted the distinctive features of our nation and motivated one and all to respect the heterogeneity that our country so proudly kindles. While providing the Ryanites a platform to showcase their caliber and talents, the activities also supported respected Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s vision to help the children understand that it is imperative for them to understand and protect the diversified heritage and legacy inherited from our forefathers while earnestly fulfilling their duties towards the nation. The School Head Ms. Nisha Sharma addressed the young Ryanites and urged everyone to continue their love and respect for the Nation and to contribute in every possible way to preserve the rich heritage, beauty and culture of our Multifarious Nation. - 20th Dec 2017

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
The School believes that teachers are like second parent to each and every child. A teachers is the only person responsible to prepare a child for future. Keeping this thought in mind students celebrated Teachers Day with great enthusiasm. Theme of the Day was “Ethnic Wear” and all the teachers had to sport the “Most fashionable looks”. The wonderful show started with a prayer for teachers and then a funny Dance Number. This was followed by a message from our honourable Managing Director Madam, which was read by our School Head. A talk show was also presented on Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishanan. It emphasized the significance and role of a teacher in the lives of students. The school council also presented a dance show, which left the audience completely mesmerized and was hugely applauded. Various fun games were also organized for the teacher’s joy. -

FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated its Founder’s Day with much aplomb. The entire school looked magnificent adorned with balloons and colourful decorations. The special occasion saw energetic Ryanites wearing dazzling birthday caps and cheerful smiles. The little Ryanites made the day special for our respected Chairman Sir, Dr. Augustine F. Pinto with an energetic and fun filled assembly. The event was graced by the presence of the guest of honour Jt. Commissioner Dilbag Singh, Excise & Taxation, Gurugram. -

Independence Day Celebration
The School pre-celebrated 71st Independence Day with much grandeur and aplomb. The eventful day began by flag hoisting and grand march past followed by the national anthem. The Chief guest, DSP Dev Dayal Tanwar and the School Head, Ms Peeya Sharma took the salute from the well synchronised marching contingents consisting of the School Council, the four school houses and the energetic Cubs and Bulbul. The grand celebrations of the day began by invoking God’s blessings with Bible verses and special prayer for our Motherland and fellow citizens. The melodious prayer songs sung by the school choir gave a pious start to everyone’s day. The guests of honour were warmly accorded a sincere welcome with welcome address in five languages followed by a peppy welcome dance. The extremely talented Ryanites presented a mesmerising skit ‘The Spirit of India’ which highlighted the contributions and sacrifices made by the brave hearts whom everyone remembers with deep regard. The day’s celebrations became more meaningful with a lively Street Play on ‘Save the Girl Child’, a noble initiative by our revered Prime Minister Mr. Narendera Modi. The students through the street play highlighted the grave issue of gender inequality and presented effective ideas to curb the issue. The energy of the participants was highly appreciated by all. The celebrations came to an end with a spectacular Patriotic dance performance by the young dancers. The rhythmic performance by the Ryanites filled everyone’s hearts with colours of patriotism. The day ended with a heartfelt thanks to the esteemed guests for honouring us with their august presence. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma thanked the guests and appreciated the efforts of each Ryanite who put in their hard work and diligence to make the show a success. She also encouraged everyone to love the country with zeal and fervour and always be ready contribute towards the betterment of the country and take to higher scales of success. -

RYAN VISTA-CLASS -I
The school organized ‘Ryan Vista’ – a special assembly to felicitate the academic achievers of class I for the annual year 2016-17. The program was graced by Mr. Shyam Sunder (Secretary, District Red Cross Society), Mr. Ravi Kalra (President Earth Saviour Foundation) and Mr. Shailesh Sharma (Wing Commander, Vayu Sena) On this auspicious occasion the students received recognition for their hard work and excellent performance in the year 2016-17 in various fields of education. The ceremony showcase the efforts of the school in providing wonderful opportunities to unleash students ‘ talents and leading them to touch the pinnacles of glory. It was a proud movement of all the achievers, as they received certificates and badges for their outstanding achievements in whole range of subject areas like Excellence in Academics, Oratory Skills, All Round Achievements, Dancing (Nimble Feet), Singing (Nightingale), Avid Reader, Scientific Inclination, Mathematical Skills (Maths Whiz Kid) and Technology Savvy. Students like Mannit Sikka, Pranya Jain, Riddhima Bhatiya, Anay Tyagi, Swapnil Das, Kushagra Sethia, Chahak Khanna and Chaitanya Sharma came out with flying colours. The esteemed guest motivated the students through their enlightening speeches, highlighting the importance of hard work and diligence in students to achieve higher success. CHAIRMAN SIR'S VISIT
The school felt honoured with the gracious presence of Chairman Sir Dr. A. F. Pinto on 17th July 2017 Revered Chairman Sir was welcomed and ushered by School President Meghna Kwatra and Prime Minister Akshit Sharma along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma amidst huge round of applause. The school band gave respect Chairman Sir a guard of honour while the junior toy band played rhythmic tunes of Sir was then led by the School president and Prime Minister to see the grand presentation by the various blubs envisaged in accordance with his 12 vision points. All the clubs through their presentation gave Sir a brief insight about the tasks and projects being undertaken by their respective clubs. MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurugram organized an array of activities on 12th May 2017 to mark Mother’s Day. The event was witnessed by the beautiful Moms of Montessori. The handcrafted invitation cards made by the tiny tots were given to invite the mothers. The day started with invocation of Lord’s blessings through Bible Reading and special Prayer .This was followed by heart melting dance performance by the Young Buds of Montessori II & III on the songs ‘My dear , dear Mummy’ and “I love you Mama “ where children prayed for their dear mothers” happiness and well being. This rhythmic & synchronized performance was well applauded & appreciated by one & all present there .To make the moments immensely memorable, apart from enchanting performances, “Yummy –Mummy” cooking without fire contest was organized for the super moms to exhibit their creative & magical culinary skills. The event also enriched everyone there and show cased the way to nurture Healthy Kids”. Various exciting team games were also designed for the moms where they were given situations and asked to enact and show how they would handle it. The contest saw the overzealous &high spirited mothers participate vehemently. The school Head Ms. Peeya Sharma extended a heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful Moms present. Thoroughly the celebration & activities students thanked their mothers for every sacrifice that they have been performing for them and glorified the bond of love & affection between a mother and a child. -

Investiture Ceremony
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon held the Investiture Ceremony, on 11th May 2017, to entrust faith and hope in the newly appointed school council. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Dinesh Pal Singh (DIG, BSF). The celebration began by invoking Lord’s blessings with Bible reading and a Special Prayer for the torch bearers of tomorrow. The guest of honour was then welcomed with a heartfelt ‘Welcome Song’. Thereafter Master Mantavya Sethi, the President of the Student Council 2016-17, addressed the gathering and apprised them with the accomplishments, achieved by his council members during the year 2016-17. The handing over of the School’s Flag to the newly elected School Prime Minister Master Akshit Sharma was indeed a moment to cherish. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma along with the revered guest then conferred the new Cabinet Members with their scarves and badges to invest the office bearers with the responsibility to lead by example. This was followed by the much anticipated Oath-taking ceremony which was administered by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The Student Council pledged to carry out their duties with integrity, sincerity and excellence. The occasion also witnessed an inspiring talk show by the young Ryanites. The talk show motivated the emerging leaders to be good leaders and stay committed to their responsibilities. The presentation was well appreciated and hugely applauded. The guest, in his speech, motivated the Ryanites to put in all their efforts to bring glory to the nation and take it to the zenith. The ceremony further nurtured the visionary Chairman Sir’s vision of fostering leadership qualities among the Ryanites and preparing them to be the Kings and Queens of tomorrow. Earth Day Celebrations
The school organised an assembly to celebrate Earth Day and to felicitate the academic achievers of class-III A.Y 2016-17. The celebration put forth the students desire to create a ‘Green World’ where all the creations of the God live in harmony. Ryanites believe that God’s blessings lead them to a path of enlightenment, so to seek God’s blessing, Bible reading and special prayer was conducted. The Earth Day celebration demostrated support for environmental protection and to commemorate the occasion the school took a step towards a greener tomorrow by inaugrating an ‘Organic Bed’ which would be used to grow plants using organic seeds and biodegradable waste. The presence of reverend guest, ACP Anil Yadav, Dr. Sanjay Rana (Chairman, Aqua Foundation), Ms. Kalyani Sachan (Architect, Social Worker), Atanu Choudhury (Senior Licensing Executive Worldwide for Microsoft), Mr. Rajesh Arora (Member District Working Committee BJP) filled this event with joy. An enlightening skit on saving the mother earth was presented by the students of class 4 through which they focused on mobilizing people to create a sustainable and healthy environment. The flawless performance of the students made the highlight of the day. The School believes in sensitizing the students about the importance of sustainable environment following the vision of our respected chairman Sir Dr. A.F. Pinto. The school in collaboration with Aqua Foundation also felicitated the winners of painiting competition held in the school. The splendid display of all the performances helped the audience understand how the school works on all round development of the students. On the occasion the students were recognized for their excellent work done in the year 2016-17 in different fields of education. The ceremony showcased the efforts of the school in making future leaders by instilling in them confidence, discipline and leadership qualities. It was a proud moment for all the achievers as they received certificates and badges for their excellence in various spheres like Excellence in Academics, Oratory Skills, All-rounder student, Nimble feet, Nightingale Award, Avid Reader, Scientific Inclination, Maths Whiz kid, Technology Savvy. The presence of parents in the ceremony was really motivational for the students. The esteemed guests motivated the students through their inspiring words and touched the heart of the spectators. The guests were thoroughly impressed by the show which showcased the Ryanites talents in various spheres. They praised the Ryanites and encouraged them to continue to work with same enthusiasm and zeal. On this momentous day, the school cabinet members were also felicitated. The School Head conferred the badges to the school cabinet members for their immense contribution towards the school. It was indeed a defining moment for the entire cabinet member. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma extended her heartfelt gratitude towards the guests, parents and the students by concluding with these words ”Touching the sky should not be the limit but the zeal to excel in all spheres of life with the same spirit of integrity and the will to win is must for every Ryanite”. -

Workshop On ‘Personality Development And Positive Communication’
The school organised a highly beneficial and prodigious workshop on ‘Personality Development and Positive Communication’ by none other than Dr. Tushar Guha, Founder Chairman and Managing Director NRITYANJALI Group and a pioneer in the field of education and psychology. The tailor made programme was highly participative and interactive in nature and catered to the needs of the parents and teachers alike. Through his eye opening workshop, he brought to the fore the urgent need to make concerted efforts to make education more wholesome. He guided the audience on how to direct the children to achieve physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. He advised to channelize the inherent potential to achieve success. He, at the same time, acknowledged the need to encourage the children to abide by the ethics and values at every step. Dr. Tushar Guha spoke about the evolved role of parents in a child’s life and how they must nurture the talent of their child and help him to pursue his passion in life. He recommended being friendly so that child does not hesitate to share the deep hidden secrets and becomes a confident and caring adult. Dr. Guha also interacted with the parents. He answered their queries and gave suitable solutions to their problems. The workshop proved to be an eye opener and motivated the audience to change with time and make a concerted effort to shape the future of the children. The parents profusely thanked the Ryan Group of Institutions and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma for the opportunity to interact and get enlightened by such a renowned personality. -

World Heritage Day
The school celebrated ‘World Heritage Day’ with great aplomb and fervor. The eventful day began by evoking God Almighty’s blessings with Bible reading and Special prayer followed by melodious prayer songs by the cheerful school choir which made the day even more blessed and divine. The event was graced with the honorable presence of Mr. Atul Dev, Member INTACH, Journalist (Columnist), Public Relations Consultant, Ms. Kalyani Sachan (Architect, Social Worker), Mr. Rajesh Arora (Member District Working Committee BJP) and Ryanites displayed their warm hospitality by extending a warm welcome in five languages depicting the true spirit of ‘Unity in Diversity’. The highlight of the day’s celebrations was the enthralling dance drama ‘Our endeavours for Heritage’ by young buds of the school through which they effortlessly highlighted the unparalleled contributions made by the school towards preservation and conservation of rich and priceless heritage of our country. The celebration of the day became more joyful with another fascinating and upbeat fusion dance performance ‘Rhythmic Steps ‘by the talented students. The mellifluous performance added the much looked forward zing to the day and was duly appreciated. The day became more special with felicitation of young achievers of the school by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma who enchantingly displayed their impressive oratory skills and revolutionary thoughts in elocution competition on the topic ‘Our Heritage our Pride’. The gathering was then addressed by the Guest of Honor and the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The wise words shared by them motivated students to be the guardians of our rich heritage with the aim to preserve and conserve our heritage and culture and be the responsible Ryanites and citizens of India. The celebrations of the day were totally in sync with our respected Chairman Sir’s vision of ‘Art, Culture and Heritage’ and resonated the same thought in hearts of each and every Ryanite. -

Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony-Ryan Vista
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon organised an award ceremony ‘Ryan Vista’ to felicitate the students of class-IV & V A.Y 2016-17. The students were recognized for their excellent work done in the year 2016-17 in different fields of education. The ceremony showcased the efforts of the school in making future leaders by instilling in them confidence, discipline and leadership qualities. Ryanites always believed that God’s blessings lead them to a path of enlightenment, so to seek God’s blessing, bible reading and special prayer was conducted. The presence of reverend guest, Mr. Yashpal Yadav, IPS (Administrator, HUDA) and Mr. Sudarshan Sengupta (Domain Head, Network Applications, in region Indiaat Ericson) filled this event with joy. The guests of the honour for the programme were welcomed by the Ryanites by singing the rhythmic welcome song followed by welcome speech spoken by the students in five different languages. The celebration was followed by array of performances. Besides songs and dances, specially choreographed for the occasion, a skit on ”Proud to be a Ryanite” was also presented. The splendid display of all these performances helped the audience to understand how the school works on all round development of the students. It was a proud moment for all the achievers as they received certificates and badges for their excellence in various spheres like Excellence in Academics, Oratory Skills, All-rounder student, Nimble feet, Nightingale Award, Avid Reader, Scientific Inclination, Maths Whiz kid, Technology Savvy. The presence of parents in the ceremony was really motivational for the students. The esteemed guests motivated the students through their inspiring words and touched the heart of the spectators. The guests were thoroughly impressed by the show which showcased the Ryanites talents in various spheres. They praised the Ryanites and encouraged them to continue to work with same enthusiasm and zeal. On this momentous day, the school cabinet members were also felicitated. The School Head conferred the badges to the school cabinet members for their immense contribution towards the school. It was indeed a defining moment for the entire cabinet member. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma extended her heartfelt gratitude towards the guests, parents and the students by concluding with these words ”Touching the sky should not be the limit but the zeal to excel in all spheres of life with the same spirit of integrity and the will to win is must for every Ryanites”. -

FLOWER SHOW
The School organized a colourful and vivacious display of exuberant variety of flowers in its annual 'Flower Show' which marked the advent of the season of bloom - the spring season. The flower show boasted of exotic flowers of striking and vivid colours. The colourful beauties, evocative of balmy winters, made the school premises vibrant. The prismatic blooms of Calendula, Daisy, Chamomile, Erigeron, Sun flower, Dandelions and Dahlia were arranged in an interesting fashion depicting the name 'Ryan' which added a picturesque beauty to the day. The flower show was judged by Mrs. Alpana Srivastava, a social activist and a PETA member. The dazzling entries of flower show were judged on the basis of health and appearance of plant. The 1st position was bagged by Divyanshi – III H, Ahana Singh- II B, Pragya Rathi- V D, Tamana- IV D, Drishti- III I, Aditya Gupta- III i. 2nd position was bagged by Thakur Kush- II D, Dhruv- III G, Paruni Boken- IV, Sana Afreen- III D, Anam- II D, Swasti- III B and 3rd position was bagged by Rayyan Baig- I D, Garima- III G, Bhavya Sunder- II F, Yashika- II C, Tanmay Mittal- III C, Nilanjana- II B. The deserving winners were duly applauded by all. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma congratulated all the winners and thanked all the parents for being ever supportive towards the noble cause of environment protection. She also encouraged all students to be environment sensitive and put in the best of their effort with same zeal and fervour in future also. The flower show also highlighted the commendable contribution of Ryanites towards environment. Students of Environment Club presented a talk show to showcase the concerted efforts of Ryanites towards environment conservation and for raising awareness towards preservation of environment through rallies and street plays. They also gave details of the variety of plants and trees that adorn the school’s green carpet. The flower show completely resonated with the respected Chairman Sir's vision of 'Nurturing the Environment'. It promoted flowers as a symbol of grace, sign of beauty and adornment companions. The event further patronized the need to make creative efforts to encourage ’green gifting’ and assist nourishing the green heritage. -

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated the 68th Republic Day with all its solemnity and grandeur. The event showcased the pride taken in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of democracy and unity. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children indulged in a plethora of activities designed to mark the national occasion. The activities commenced right from the beginning of the month when the students wrote their wish on a Tricolour cutout on the topic ‘My India My Pride’ to embellish the Wishing Tree in their classrooms. Students from Montessori I to III soaked in patriotic fervour by creating some hand works like kites, peacocks, balloons, lotus etc in the hues of our National flag. They danced on some peppy patriotic songs and also learnt the lyrics of some of them. Students from classes I and II pasted pictures of our National Symbols in their scrapbook and got to know about them in detail. Class II also wrote a few lines on the topic ‘Republic Day’ in their scrap books to express their happiness on the occasion and honour the supreme sacrifice made by our freedom fighters. Young patriots from class III drew the National Symbols of our country on A4 size sheets and proudly displayed them in their classes. Ryanites from class IV declamated on the topic ‘Rights and Duties go hand in hand’ and emphasized that before we claim our rights we must render our duties towards the nation. Ryanites from class V learnt about the Preamble of our Constitution and wrote it in their scrapbook. They also made Tricolour placards and wrote an inspiring quote on patriotism on it. Further, class V participated in a Role Play competition, wherein they came dressed as the freedom fighter that inspires them the most. The celebration was at its peak on 26th January when the school organised a special assembly to mark the 68th Republic Day. The event was graced by the presence of Colonel Ashish Hooda (Sena Medlist), ACP Dharna Yadav (ACP Crime) nad Brig. Satyendra Dixit (Vishisht Sewa Medalist) and started in patriotic ambience with prayers rendered for our country’s progress, unity and security. The guest of honour Colonel Aashish Hooda (Sena Medalist) along with the School Head hoisted the National flag. The cabinet members, the Cubs and Bulbuls and the four houses, namely: Mahatama Gandhi house, Indira Gandhi house, Jawaharlal Nehru house and Sarojini Naidu house saluted and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness of their Nation. Further, the young Ryanites, added to the patriotic fervour with a classical dance performance titled ‘Rhythm of India’ and ‘Dance of Pride’ on a patriotic number. They also staged a fusion dance called ‘Mash Up Performance’ and got the audience grooving. The students from classes I & II presented invigorating presentations to sensitize the gathering about the role media plays in influencing our thought process and to highlight the need to deliver our duties before claiming the rights. The street play ‘Social Media’ and skit ‘Proud to be Indian’ were well received and applauded. The young nation lovers from Montessori recited poems on the topic ‘My India, My Pride’. The skillful Ryanites from Montessori proved their talent on wheels with an enchanting Skating performance. The assembly and all the performances were deeply appreciated by the guests who encouraged the Ryanites to put forth their best in everything they do. The celebration was a reflection of India’s cultural diversity and the melange of activities conducted created an atmosphere of national pride. The extravaganza highlighted the distinctive features of our nation and motivated one and all to respect the heterogeneity that our country so proudly kindles. While providing the Ryanites a platform to showcase their calibre and talents, the activities also supported respected Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s vision to help the children understand that it is imperative for them to understand and protect the diversified heritage and legacy inherited from our forefathers while earnestly fulfilling their duties towards the nation. -

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon marked the advent of the festive season with grandeur and great enthusiasm. The celebration saw the joyous faces soak in merry making and spread warmth and smiles all around. The entire school wore a festive look with santa caps, christmas trees, dazzling stars and decorations all around. The occasion saw the Ryanites participate in multitude of activities that were designed to multiply the joy of the season. Entire School adorned the ‘Wishing Tree’ in classrooms with ‘Three Wishes for Santa’ written on cut out of bells. The little angels from Montessori with their tiny hands enamoured the cutouts of Christmas trees with shiny decorations to bedeck their classes. Students of Montessori II & III took part in ‘Tree Decoration Competition’ wherein each section embellished the Christmas Tree, in their respective classes, with colourful and vibrant looking ornaments. Montessori III also participated in Inter Class Carol Singing competition to create the perfect atmosphere. The tiny tots looked adorable when they dressed up as Mother Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds and Angels to stage the sacred moment of birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The young enthusiasts from classes I & II too excitedly created Christmas decorations like santa’s cap and socks and declamated on the topics ‘If I could give a Gift to the World on Christmas, it will be ....’ and ‘Dear Santa Fulfill my Wish’ respectively. Children from classes III to V contended in an Inter House Carol Singing Competition wherein Sarojini Naidu House emerged as a winner. The creative hands from classes III and IV enjoyed making stars and Christmas Trees using popsicle sticks and embellishments. Students of class V made wreaths with colourful cutout of their hand impressions. The gorgeous creations were then used to festoon the classes and make them look vibrant. The cheerful students of classes III and IV were also engaged in a declamation competition on the topics ‘Dear Santa Fulfill my Wish’ and ‘Cakes and Candles, Carols and Toys, Christmas is the season of Laughter and Joy’, Class V on the other hand, expressed opinion in a debate competition on the topic ‘Gifts- A gesture of Love or a burden’. The celebration culminated with a special assembly conducted on 23rd December 2016. The occasion was graced by the presence of Pastor Rev J. Edwin John Wesly. Exuberant Ryanites prayed to Lord Almighty and expressed gratitude for the endless blessings showered by Him each day. The gathering welcomed the guest by singing a peppy welcome song. The students then staged the Nativity play with much excitement to showcase the birth of Lord Jesus Christ- The Light of the World. The winners of the declamation competition conducted for class IV were felicitated by the honourable guest to make the day more special and Sarojini Naidu House mesmerised the audience with their mellifluous card singing. Students of classes I & II then took the assembly on a ‘Joy Ride’ and bedazzled them with a fascinating and charming dance performance. The benevolent Ryanites also visited Deep Ashram, an orphanage in Gurgaon, to spread the warmth of the festival. The compassionate Santas from Ryan distributed sweets, Frooti and toiletries like soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc among the children there. The celebration helped the students understand that festivals are a way to spread joy and happiness. It also showcased their creative side and sharpen their oratory skills. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma wished the school happy tidings and a very happy and endearing 2017. She motivated the Ryanites to be the torch bearers of tomorrow and imbibe good values and follow the God’s commandments to achieve success. -

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY- ‘FASTRAX-PLAY FOR INDIA’
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon conducted its Annual Sports Day ‘Fastrax’ for the students of Primary wing on 26th November 2016 with much zeal and excitement. The Sports extravaganza showcased fairness and equal opportunity provided in sports by the institution. The event displayed the five S’s of sports training ie. Stamina, Speed, Strength, Skill and Spirit. The mega event was graced by the presence of some eminent guests: Mr. Anup Yadav (Haryana Police- team International Kabbadi Team Captain), Group Captain K.H. Kishore (Station Commander, Air Force, Gurgaon), Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Gautam Bannerjee ,Mr. Raman Malik (BJP Spokesperson), Mr. Sumit Kuwatra (Inspector of BSF (Asian Game Medalist), Mr. Rajeev Godara (International Boxer), Mr. Dharambir Thakran (International Boxer, NIS coach at Indian Railway of Boxing), Prof. Dr. Jogender Singh (International Medalist in Boxing / Chairman Chancellor OPJS University), Mr. Deepak Jain (President of Rotary Club), Mr. Ombir Singh (Director, Royal Kids Educational), Mr. Lalit Kumar (ASI Haryana Police). The very special day began by evoking Almightys’ blessings with Bible reading, Special prayer and Prayer Songs. The students along with the choir, comprising of students form class III-IV, then sang a mellifluous patriotic medley that showcased the pride that we take in our Motherland’s rich heritage and culture. The honourable guests and parents present were welcomed by the Ryanites with a welcome speech and peppy welcome song. The Guests of Honour Mr. Anup Yadav along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma hoisted the school Flag and took the salute at the march past that comprised of the school council, the four school houses and the cadets from Cub and Bulbul. The comprehensive and well co-ordinated March Past impressed the audience. This was followed by the oath talking ceremony which was administered by the school Sports Minister, Mstr. Vaibhav Gupta. The release of balloons by the respected guests marked the opening of the meet and ignited the spirit of sportsmanship. The mascot of the event, ‘Sprinty’- The cheetah, cheered the Ryanites as they competed in various track events to display their speed, focus and agility. Finals of the Hoopla Ring race for class II girls, Collect the Cone race for the boys of class-I, Hurdle race for class III girls, Frog race for boys of class IV and Skipping race and Relay race for class V boys were conducted. All the winners of the various races were felicitated with medals and certificates. Students from Anubhav, school for the under privileged) to participated with great enthusiasm. The victorious athletes from Anubhav received their medals from the honourable guests and the School Head. The rising ‘Sports Stars’ of the school were also awarded and were given due recognition. The Sports Achievers from the school, who outshine in various sports, were acknowledged for their tremendous success. The eventful day witnessed the fit and healthy Ryanites form class I display a funfilled and rhythmic way to exercise with ‘Global India Aerobics along with Hoopla Drill’. The gathering was enthralled to see a nail biting display by the young Karate experts. The absorbing presentation kept the audience at the edge of the seats and was hugely applauded. ‘Beats of the Nation’- Dumbbell drill by the students of class II showcased their strength and also the beauty of synchronization. The mesmerizing performance induced vigour and impressed the gathering. The brave hearts from class V presented a pure bliss and treat for the eyes with ‘Rhythmic Fervour’. The performance put forth the true sportsmanship spirit among the youngsters and displayed their ardent admiration for all the sports. The programme concluded with the Grand Finale wherein Mahatma Gandhi House lifted the ‘Winner House’ trophy. The pique of the day was the parents race. The ground ruptured into joyful claps and loud cheering as the parents took the tracks with great zeal and effervescence. The mega event emphasized the need to give up sedentary lifestyle and exercise daily to build stamina, speed and strength. The event gave the Ryanites a platform to display their endurance and agility while showcasing Ryan’s endeavour to nurture love for sports among the students. The occasion also highlighted respected Chairman Sir Dr. Ausgustine F Pinto’s vision of seeing the Ryanites illuminate the Olympic torch. -

Children's Day Celebration
While we try to track out children about life our children teach us what life is about today Ryan International School, sector-40, Gurgaon celebrated Children’s day with great enthusiasm and aplomb. The day began by evoking God’s blessings with Bible reading and prayers for the well being of children. The teachers filled the air with energy and mirth with a high energy rock band which was highly enjoyed by students as they also joined in the wonderful performance. the celebrations became more enthralling with arid tickling skit presented by teachers. The dramatic act was thoroughly enjoyed by students and they also learnt a powerful message of discipline. The highlight of the day was ‘Teen Act’ by teachers from Montessori where in they mimicked famous personalities and students had a smashing time recognizing the act. The day’s celebration also comprised of many fun filled activities organized by teachers for students in classes. Students were also presented with lovely cards and goodies which were relished by them .The day became very special for children when the School Head Ms Peeya Sharma shared the heartfelt message sent by respected Chairman Sir Dr.Augustine .F.Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto which comprised of heartiest wishes for bright and successful future of all Ryanites who would be future kings and queens. The School Head wished all the students a very happy children’s day and hope for all the luck and laughter in their life. She also advised them to fulfill their responsibilities earnestly and be known as confident, future leader of country and embrace their big dreams with commitment and perseverance. GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION
The School conducted a Special Assembly to celebrate “Gandhi Jayanti” on 3rd October. It was an occasion to renew our pledge to live life with dignity and honesty like Gandhiji lived his whole life. The guest of honour was Mr. J.k.Gupta. He has secured Gold Medal during Post graduation in Chemical Engieering and has done innovative works in water treatment and has also developed unique energy management system. The programme started with the plantation by the guest and Bible reading. Melodious prayer songs sung mesmerised everyone. Students of class two gave a beautiful performance of medley of Gandhi’s favourite bhajans and created a perfect environment of serenity, while encouraging the gathering to live with truthfulness and dignity. Some of the students of class -2 then presented the teachings of Gandhiji’s three monkeys in a very effective manner, inspiring everyone to keep away from all that is bad and evil. The students of class 1 and 2 gave a perfect tribute to Gandhiji through a beautiful dance performance which was based on his favoruite “Vaishnav Jan te Tene Kahiye je”. The enchanting perforamance inspired the children to do good deeds in life. The guest of Honour Mr J.K.Gupta congratulated all the participants for their wonderful performance and motivated everyone to follow Babu’s dream of Swachh Bharat. In addition school organized a melange of activities to celebrate the occasion. Students of classes I and II participated in Hindi handwriting competition and wrote a paragraph on “राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी”. The students of class III indulged in scrap book activity where in they wrote fascinating facts about Mahatma Gandhi and also pasted pictures. Ryanties of class IV enhanced their knowledge and awareness about the Father of the Nation through a well conducted quiz. Class V, while propogating the ideologies of the legend, worked in groups and prepared a presentation on his life and milestones. The school celebrated the momentous day by contributing to the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. The young activities form Ryan along with their teacher’s ardently lended a hand to realize the Mahatma’s vision and our honourable Prime Minister’s Campaign ‘Clean India’. Cleanliness drives were conducted in Hewo Appartment, Sector-40, Sector-49 and Sector-31 to mark the day. The occasion and the activities proclaimed the need for love and peace to prevail. They also encourage the Ryanites to follow the footsteps of Gandhiji to become a righteous human being to achieve the desired goals. -

BLOOD DONATION CAMP-1st October 2016
The School organized a blood donation camp, on 1st October, in collaboration with Rotary Blood Bank. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma, School Staff and even the parents came forward to participate and donate blood as it is a selfless service and an expression of love for mankind. Residents from immediate neighbourhood and entire Sector-40 were intimated about the endeavour and they turned out in huge number at the camp. The organizers conducted preliminary and essential examinations and tests like blood pressure, Hemoglobin, weight check etc. using sterile and disposable equipments before allowing the participants to donate blood. The event brought the community together and saw people’s concern for the well being of all those who are in deed of blood and fighting fatal diseases and injuries. The camp garnered immense appreciation and Ryanties endeavour for the noble cause was hugely applauded. Speaking on the occasion, School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma highlighted the importance of blood donation which can help to save thousands of lives and inspire people around to come forward and donate blood to safeguard the life of others. She emphasized that humanity can be served in the best way by donating blood. She opined that blood donation is a noble cause and it is our social responsibility towards the society. She thanked all the donors for their active participation and also the Rotary Club for joining hands and for their active participation .She also applauded the motivation of the teachers and their highly enthusiastic contribution. -

GRANDPARENT'S DAY CELEBRATION
The Montessori Wing of the students expressed their gratitude to their grandparents on 1st October 2016 to mark “The Grandparents Day”. The grandparents of Montessori I & II were invited in the school. The day began by invoking Lord’s blessings through Bible Reading and Prayer. This was followed by Prayer songs & a welcome by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The budding Ryanites of Montessori presented dance and poems to extend gratitude towards them also Montessori II presented a grandparents song which was a flashback of childhood with grandparents. It was a pleasure and delight to see the grandparents’ enthusiasm to participate in “Four Corner Game”. The event was planned to strengthen the bond between the grandparents and their young angels. The child like spirit was well reflected in them. The show stopper of the event was “Antakshri” which made them Sing and Dance on the “Oldie-Goldie” songs of their era. The growing years only seemed to have enhanced their lively spirit. The “Most Enthusiastic”, Grandparents were awarded and the venue was pull of love, care & happiness, which the grandparents shower on their grandchildren. The elderly guests expressed their immense pleasure & happiness and appreciate the vision of Chairman Dr. Augustine F Pinto who always emphasize on moral based education. The event concluded with big round of applauds and vote of thanks by the young Ryanites. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma insisted to respect and spend “Quality time” with grandparents became they are the people with “Silver in Hair & Gold in Heart”. The day proved to be a memorable one for the grandparents where love, respect & kindness were appropriately reciprocated through the event. -

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon believes that teachers are like second parent to each and every child. Teachers are the only person responsible to prepare a child for future. Keeping this thought in mind students celebrated Teachers Day with great enthusiasm. Theme of the Day was “Ethnic Wear” and all the teachers have to look like “Maharanis”. The show as wonderful as the students start the show by a funny Dance Number, followed by Prayer, massage from our honourable Managing Director Madam, which was read by our School Head. Talk show was also presented on Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishanan emphasized the significance and role of a teacher in the lives of students. The school council also presented a dance show, which left applauding. Various fun games also took place, “Royal Guru” was also selected. Teachers also participated in Traditional ‘Maharani Fashion show’. All the teachers very happy to see the flawless and energetic show. -

FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated its Founder’s Day on 29th August with fervor and gusto the entire school looked vibrant decorated with balloons and colorful buntings. The special occasion saw energetic Ryanites wearing dazzling birthday caps and cheerful smiles. The high paint of the celebration was the special assembly was organised on 29th August 2016. The occasion was graced by the presence of ‘Reverend David Samuel’ (Pastor Good Shepherd Church). The programme commenced with Bible reading and special prayer for Chairman Sir good health and prosperity. This was followed by the prayer songs that rented the air with divinity and soulfulness. This was followed by a hearty Birthday Song sing mellifluously for Chairman Sir by the school choir students and teachers. But the assembly was privy to the many achievements and philanthropic ways of Chairman Sir through a role play on him. The Kings and Queens of tomorrow from Montessori echoed idealistic Chairman Sir’s 12 visions with a skit. Students of classes I & II also gave a mesmerizing presentation on the ‘Nine Jewels’ propagated by him and stressed on the need to follow them religiously in order to become a righteous human being. The congregation also saw a thought provoking street play ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’ wherein Ryanites highlighted the fact that best way to serve our country is by doing our duties earnestly. The celebration also comprised of an enlightening Bible enactment based on the value of the month ‘Freedom’. The presentation stressed on the importance of freedom with responsibility. Students from class V then took the stage to present a talk show on ‘What I Want to Be’. The impressive talk show demonstrated students steely determination to achieve their dreams and prove themselves worthy to the nation. An amazing and flawless dance performance by the rhythmic Ryanites added zing to the merry making and was hugely applauded. Keeping in sync with Chairman Sir’s vision of a ‘Green Earth’ the school also organised Plantation Drives in the vicinity. Generous and Compassionate Ryanites also visited an orphanage run by Mother Teresa Missionaries of Charity ‘Premdham’ to celebrate their joy with the less fortunate children and filled their day with happiness and cheer. Students distributed goodies among the children along with toiletries and spend some quality time with them. Considerate Ryanites also involved the children in Kanhai village in the festivities. They visited the village loaded with goodies and stationery which were distributed among the excited children there. They also together sang birthday wishes for Chairman Sir. The occasion was also celebrated with the students of Anubhav School with gusto. The festivities culminated with distribution of chocolates among the exuberant Ryanites. The week long celebration to mark honourable Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s birthday saw enthusiastic Ryanites participate with great zeal. The little buds from Montessori I indulged in merry making with ‘Fanny Dress Competition’ wherein they came dressed in vibrant attires to commemorate the special day. They also took to colouring and used vibrant hues to paint a dazzling cake for their Chairman Sir. Tiny tots from Montessori II, on the other hand folded bright coloured sheets to create distractive birthday caps to celebrate the momentous occasion. They also declamated on the topic ‘How I Celebrate My Birthday’ and spoke in detail on how they kick up their heels on their birthday. Montessori III-A and Class-I too showed their love for Chairman Sir by shaping brilliant and shing Birthday Cards for him. The entire Montessori wing organised class parties to soak in merry making on the joyous day. Young Ryanites form class II joyfully prepared prismatic and attractive bouquet of shimmering flowers for their ever considerate and loving Chairman Sir. Students from classes III-V participated in Calligraphy activity and as a mark of respect wrote about Chairman Sir, his vision and achievements in extremely wonderful handwriting. A role play competition on the topic ‘What I Want To BE’ was also organized for the ambitions students of classes III to V. The role pay gave to them an opportunity to put forth their aim to bring about a change in the life of underprivileged and follow the vision and footsteps of Chairman Sir. The celebration renewed the visions of Founder Chairman Sir and captured the essence of his life and beliefs. The kaleidoscope of activities that students indulged in motivated each one of them to take inspiration from Chairman Sir Life and follow their passion while serving the nation. -

The School celebrated Ryan Vista for students of class IV of the academic year 2015-16. The celebrations of the day were graced by the honourable presence of guests of honour Mr. Raman Malik (BJP spokes person) and Dr. Sarita Dewan (Appication Scientist Association Consultant Roche Diagnostics India. The event aimed at celebrating and honouring the achievements of students in various spheres in the previous academic year. The day began by plantation of sapling by the guests followed by Bible reading and prayer songs. The guests of honour were duly felicitated with a potted plant by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. Ryanites extended a warm welcome to guests and parents with welcome address in five different languages followed by melodious welcome song by the school choir. The meritorious students received certificates and badges for their excellent performance in various domains of achievement like Ryan scholar, oratory skills, mathematical skills, scientific skills and information technology. The pique of the day was the moment when the names of ‘All Rounder Best Students’ were announced. All the winners were duly felicitated and accredited for their hard work, perseverance and dedication. The day’s celebrations also comprised of a mesmerizing dance performance by synchronized Ryanites. Young Ryanites impressed everyone with their dramatic skills through a thought provoking street play ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’ which effectively showcased the grandeur of India through eyes of a common man. Dance medley ‘Chak De India’ spirited Ryanites left everyone awestruck. Ryanites impressed everyone present with an inspiring Talk Show ‘What I Want to Be’, through which they highlighted ideas and ideologies of famous personalities, who are a medium of constant inspiration for young minds. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma thanked all the parents and guests for their honourable presence in today’s celebrations. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and feeling of respect for the nation. On this patriotic occasion the Ryanites showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performance. The school was adorned with tricolor balloons and flags. The special assembly of the students to commemorate the day created an ambience of patriotism. The Chief Guest Mr. Gian Singh Sehrawat (President Award – Dhyanchand Award, 2008-09 ) and Colonel Sukhvinder Singh Dhaliwal (Staff Officer to the Chief of the Army Staff) were escorted by the members of the School Cabinet to commemorate the sovereignty of our nation. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. The entire school was festooned with colours of the Indian flag which could be even seen in the attires of teachers as well as students. The grand assembly celebration began with Bible Reading followed by the prayer for the Nation. The guests were felicitated with a potted plant in keeping the Ryan tradition. The enthusiastic students welcomed the guests by welcome speech in five languages namely English, Hindi, Rajasthani, Bengali and Punjabi. The students sang a medley of patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother land. A mesmerizing skit base on the struggle of the freedom movement The Spirit of India was presented which spell bound the audience and also energized them with patriotic fervor. The pique of the day was a captivating street play ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’ which stressed on the need of a common man to come forward to make our India a better place to live in and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. An enthralling medley dance performance – “Chak De India” grabbed applauds from the audience. The meritorious students of class III were felicitated by the guests with badges and certificates. The students interacted with the guests and were motivated with words of wisdom by them. They advised the students to follow their dreams and be what they wanted to be and bring glory to the country. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma congratulated the Ryanites and encouraged them to reach higher peaks of victory. She even spoke on the significance of inculcating human values and discipline in the students. Indeed it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country. Presentation of a mélange of patriotic activities created an atmosphere of national pride. The day’s celebration concluded with a pledge to be true citizens and to keep harmony, unity and peace amongst all. -

Environment Day Celebration-I & II
Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon organised a special assembly for the students of class I & II to mark the Environment Day on 25th July. The guests of honour were Mr. G.K. Bhatnagar, a renowned social activist and Mr. Prashant Mohan, a healthcare professional. It was a day to share the sincere and yearlong efforts put by our school to save the nature around us. The day started with the pinning of badges followed by the plantation by the guests which is a step forward by the school to do its bit so save the environment. The Programme started with the Bible reading and prayers for the environment. Students of classes I and II then welcomed the guests in five different languages. “Lets join hands to nurture the nature” was the topic of the skit presented by the students of class - II through which students inspired everyone to promote harmony with nature. An impactful talk show was also presented by the students of class- II. The topic was “Lesser the Pollution Better the Solution”. Through presentation the children urged people to create a sustainable and healthy environment. The guest of honour Mr. G.K Bhatnagar presented the certificates to the winners of the Inter House Maths Quiz Competition and inspired everyone through his speech. A dance drama “Rhythmic steps” by the students of class I was the limelight of the show. It gave the vital message of saving the environment. Environment Day Celebration
The School organized a special assembly on 22nd July to mark World Environment Day. The day began by evoking God’s blessings with Bible reading and a special prayer offered for the well being of environment. The day’s guest of honour Mr. Kataria Ramesh Chand, Associate Vice President & Head-EH, Jindal Stainless Steel Limited and Ms. Padma, Director- Business Development Sampoorna, Zero Waste Ltd. commenced the celebrations by planting sapling in school premises as a gesture to mark environment conservation. Ryanites displayed their heart warming hospitality by according a warm welcome to the guests with welcome address in five languages and a melodious welcome song followed by the felicitation of honourable guests by the School Head, Ms. Peeya Sharma. Enthusiastic members of Environment Club of school presented an insightful presentation impressively displaying the unparalleled and persistent contributions made by the club towards environment. Students inspiringly highlighted various initiatives taken by the club to do their bit to save Mother Earth. Environment sensitive Ryanites expressed their valuable views regarding environment protection through an amazing and lively skit ‘let’s join hands to nurture the nature’. Students confidently put forward their views through their splendid performance and spread the message of understanding the dire need for everyone to be environment conscious. The week long Environment Day celebrations comprised of a debate competition in which students of class V particitated. The topic of debate ‘Are we really doing enough to keep our surroundings green?’ was effectively discussed both for and against and the winners of the same were duly awarded during special assembly. First prize was shared by Pragya Singh Pundir and Laavna Arora, second place was bagged by Saishna Sharma and third position was secured by Arush Singh. The winners were duly congratulated for their worthy performance. Rhythmic Ryanites added zing to the day’s celebrations with an upbeat and mesmerizing dance performance which was highly applauded by all. The celebration of World Environment Day earnestly spread the awareness regarding the need to protect environment and Mother Earth and also reverberated with respected Chairman Sir, Dr. A. F. Pinto’s vision of ‘Environment Conservation’. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma thanked all the guests for their honorable presence and appreciated the efforts put in by devoted students for such a lively show. Celebrated Ryan Sir’s Birthday
The School celebrated its CEO Mr. Ryan Pinto’s Birthday with much joy and aplomb. The school wore a festive look as the excited students dorned birthday caps and radiant smiles on their faces. The special assembly commenced by evoking Lord’s blessings and with a special prayer asking Lord Almighty to bless our CEO with happiness, good health and success in abundance. The students then sang a heartfelt birthday wish for their beloved Ryan Sir. This was followed by a role play on their ideal CEO Mr. Ryan Pinto. Master Gaurav Dewan dressed as Mr. Ryan Pinto inspired the Ryanites to face challenges with determination and move ahead in life. As the ‘Dada of Cricket’- Mr. Sourav Ganguly shares his birthday with the school’s CEO, Master Devansh Harit presented a roe play on his life. The role plays highlighted the achievements of both the youth icons and motivated the assembly to work hard and with perseverance to achieve the desired goals. A well synchronized dance performance by the students of class V multiplied the day’s joy and added rhythm to the celebration. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma, while quoting the example of Mr. Ryan Pinto and Mr. Sourav Ganguly, emphasized that one can achieve the seemingly impossible with steely determination. Investiture Ceremony
The School held the Investiture Ceremony, on 10th May 2016, to entrust faith and hope in the newly appointed school council. The most awaited ceremony of the year was conducted with much aplomb. The occasion was graced by the presence of DCP Balwan Singh Rana and Mr. Amit Nehra Bureau Chief, Dainik Bhaskar. The celebration began by invoking Lord’s blessings with Bible reading and a Special Prayer for the torch bearers of tomorrow. The guest of honour were then welcomed with a peppy ‘Welcome Song’. Thereafter Ms. Malishka Bhardwaj, the departing Prime Minister of the Student Council, addressed the gathering and apprised them with the accomplishment, achieved by her council numbers during the year 2015-16. The handing over of the School’s Flag to the newly elected School Prime Minister Master. Aarush Singh was indeed a moment to cherish. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma along with the revered guest then conferred the new Cabinet Members with their scarves and badges to invest the office bearers with the responsibility to lead by example. This was followed by the much anticipated Oath-taking ceremony which was administered by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The Student Council pledged to carry out their duties with integrity, sincerity and excellence. The occasion also witnessed an inspiring role play by the young Ryanites. They came dressed as prominent leaders like Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi, Ms. Chanda Kochar and American President Mr. Barack Obama to motivate the emerging leaders to be good leaders & stay committed to their responsibilities. The presentation was well appreciated and hugely applauded. The guests, in their speech, motivated the Ryanites to put in all their efforts to bring glory to the nation and take it to the zenith. The ceremony further nurtured the visionary Chairman Sir’s vision of fostering leadership qualities among the Ryanites and preparing them to be the Kings and Queens of tomorrow. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma congratulated the newly appointed cabinet members and encouraged them to be the kind of leaders one would follow voluntarily irrespective of the title or position. -

Mother's Day Celebration
Montessori wing of the school celebrated Mother’s Day with much resplendence by organizing a ‘Talent Show called Mom and Me’ for the proud Mothers. The event was witnessed by the parents of Montessori-II. The day started by invoking Lord’s blessings through Bible Reading, Prayer & Prayer Songs followed by the welcome song. The young enthusiast expressed their immense love for their beloved moms and paid a tribute for their love, care & affection by reciting nostalgic rhymes. A rhythmic & synchronized dance performance by Montessori II and Montessori III on the songs “My dear, dear Mummy”, and “Itni si hasi, itni si khusi”, gathered a lot of admiration by the audience. Beautiful Moms were felicitated with writing hand-crafted crowns to treat them royally. The enthusiastic Moms displayed their talents pairing with their children, participated in story enactment, Dance, Singing and Mimicry to win the show and the best were rewarded appropriating by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. She extended a heartfelt gratitude for their co-operation & zealous participation. The event concluded with a vote of Thanks by the little angels. The parents appreciated the school’s gesture for making this day a memorable one and for strengthening the bond of love & affection between a mother and child. -

Earth Day Celebration
The School celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April to demostrate support for environmental protection. The celebration comprised of a special assembly that intended to reflect on and create awareness to preserve the health of our planet. The day began by evoking God’s blessings and welcoming the guest Ms. Renu Bhatia, who is currently working as a BJP spokesperson, with a potted plant and welcome speech in five different languages depicting the spirit of unity in diversity. An enlightening skit on the three R’s was presented by the students of class 4 through which they focused on mobilizing people to create a sustainable and healthy environment. The flawless performance of the students made the highlight of the day. The students of class 5 made their contribution by presenting an informative talk show on the topic “Our Earth is at stake, what action you will take”. The event also comprised of an apprising report by the “Environment Club “of our school. The enthusiastic Ryanites updated everyone about the contribution made by our school under the guidance of our respected Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine. F. Pinto towards water conservation and environment protection. A skit based on ‘Earth and its Five Elements’ was enacted especilly for the Montessori children. The skit explained the importance of conserving our resources and making the Earth ’Clean and Green’. The school also organised a rally in the neighbourhood market to mark the day. The benevolent Ryanites carried slogans to convey their message for the protection of our Mother Earth. They distributed environment friendly paper bags to the people around and dissuaded them from using plastic bags. To give wings to the imagination and creativity of the children and also to create eco awareness, the school in collaboration with HOPE INITIATIVE, an NGO organised a drawing competition where children, through their art work, expressed their views to nuture a “HAPPY EARTH”.The day became more special when School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma along with the esteemed guest Ms. Renu Bhatia felicitated the winners of National Level Science Talent Search Exam. The day ended with an enthralling dance performance on the song “Bum Bum Bhole”. Their rhythmic steps added zing to the event and encouraged harmony with nature as well. The School organized a special assembly to celebrate ‘World Heritage Day’. The day began by evoking God’s blessings and welcoming honorable guest Ms. Tuhina Chatterjee, a renowned classical vocalist, with a potted plant by School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The day’s celebrations arrived at celebrating the diversity and richness of uniquely rich culture of our country through wide array of colorful and mesmerizing performance by diligent Ryanites. After welcoming esteemed guest with welcome address in five languages depicting the spirit of unity in diversity, young talented Ryanites sang mellifluous and cheerful welcome song displaying the cultural vibrancy of India in full bloom. The dedicated students of Heritage Club of the school further set the stage for the day with their marvelous ‘Heritage Report’. Through their comprehensive report students illustrated the profusely rich heritage and culture of the country including ancient monument and their significance. They emphasized the offence of diverse culture and heritage of different parts of India in their heritage report. Students of the club displayed diverse dance forms, food, traditions, festivals and attires with captivating enactment making the presentation even more colourful and attractive. The hard work and dedication of the students was quite evident through their flawless performance. The festivities of the day continued further with an enthralling dance performance. The rhythmic students charmed the audience through a darling Rajasthani dance which left everyone applauding for them. The day ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks for the guest. MONTESSORI GRADUATION CEREMONY 2015-16
The School held its Montessori Graduation Ceremony "Explore the world" on 19th March 2016 at Epicenter, Gurgaon with much grandeur. The event witnessed the excitement of the tiny tots as they expressed the joy and happiness which they experience while exploring the world and enriching themselves with the diverse cultures of the world. These feelings were even reciprocated by Pied Piper, the subject of a legend from the town of Hamelin, Germany in the Middle Ages who made the children explore the world to instill nine riches in them. The Montessori students gave rhythmic and captivating performance during the show in which their spirit to work hard and steely determination to build a better world was clearly visible. Their colorful attires and scintillating expressions won everyone's heart. Their love and respect for the school and fun in learning a variety of cultures of the world was portrayed by the cheerful dances and the presence of characters Pied Piper and the Guardian Angel transformed the venue into a world of joy and enchantment. It was propounded through the fairy tale of Pied Piper that promises must always be kept and must not be broken. The Pied Piper comes up as the guardian of Hamelin so as to inculcate in children the important human attributes like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self control and faithfulness. This is done through a journey around the world wherein the children get an opportunity to visit some of the Seven Wonders of the world like Taj Mahal in India, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. The story was well knit and presented in a fascinating manner as the little toddlers of Montessori came up with a colourful Brazilian dance of Joy and whirled and waltzed on the song ‘walking like an Egyptian’ leaving the audience spell bound. Music was propogated as a language that unites the world, and the little enthusiasts from Ryan spread the aroma of melody dipped notes with a live orchestra with a thunderous applause in appreciation. It was really praiseworthy to see the young Ryanites stress the importance of cleanliness and the efforts made by the school to achieve the mission of “Clean India”. The students felt proud in having imbibed these values at a tender age by participating in a variety of activities at the school. Every heart was full of love and respect for toddlers when they apprised the audience about their humble yet significant contribution to various initiatives like ‘Swachh Bharat, Car Free Day, Each One Plant One, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Community transformation wherein they are doing everything possible for the upliftment of the Society at large. The Students considered themselves fortunate to grow under the able hands and stewardship of Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F.Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto. The parents felt proud as their children were receiving the comprehensive and holistic education and the school has been relentlessly striving to train the students to be good and humane individuals. All the efforts of the school and the students were presented very gracefully through an enchanting programme prepared by the students. On this occasion awards were given to the achievers in various category of academics, oratory skills, art and writing from Montessori I, II and III. Badges and certificates were bestowed upon them for excellence in various fields. The event also witnesses the crowning of Kushagra Setia and Aidan Rodricks as Ryan Prince and Ayana Gautam and Sanskriti as Ryan Princess for the academic session 2015-16. They were crowned for being the most outstanding students in every sphere. The tiny students of MIII received their graduation degrees from the Guest of Honour and were hugely applauded and motivated for stepping into higher class of learning. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma congratulated the young Ryanties and thanked the teachers for imparting holistic education to the students. The splendid show ended with the grand finale where the students danced on the melodious beats and expressed their determination to always work hard and reach the pinnacle of success. Flower Show
The School organized a marvelous and splendid ‘Flower Show’ to exhibit the magnanimous and emblematic efforts of young Ryanites towards the nature and environment. The Flower Show comprised of a vivid display of varied and vibrant varieties of flowers , each one carefully and diligently taken care of by the students. The flowers with their striking colours and contrasts undoubtedly brightened the day of the visitors, attracted from near and far. The magnificent beauty of the flowers was highly appreciated and apprehended by the awestruck onlookers. Young environment lovers of our School also presented an enriching ‘Talk Show’ on the topic ‘Beautiful Flowers of India’, through which they apprised the audience with extraordinary features of the beautiful and popular varieties of flowers. Students also shared their thoughts regarding environment conservation and preservation through indigenous methods. The revolutionary message of ‘Save Mother Earth’ was clearly put forward by the Ryanites through a thought provoking street play by young buds of the school. The radiant flowers arranged impressively to create the name of school ‘RYAN’ was dominated with varieties like Dahlias, Daisies, Petunia, Zinnias, Orchids and Chrysanthemums. The flower show was judged by the guest of honour Ms. Pragya Sharma based on the criteria of health, texture, colour and size of the bloom. The much awaited moment when the winners were announced, was highly welcomed. The flower show was also an effort and a step forward towards the vision point of our respected Chairman Sir Dr. A.F.Pinto of Saving the Environment and keeping it healthy. -

Republic Day Celebration
Ryan International School, Gurgaon celebrated the 67th Republic day with immense pomp and gaiety on 26th January 2016. A grand celebration was held in the school and the students took great pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and enforcement of the Indian Constitution. Pramod Sehwag “General Secretary of Youth Congress” presided over the celebration and his presence certainy added to the joy of the day. The celebration started with the flag hoisting ceremony which was followed by a grand March Past . The marching contingents included the Council Members lead by the School President and the four houses all piloted by their respective House Captains. Reverend Guest and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma took the salute at the March Past and were impressed by the synchronised and determined movement of the students. The celebration included an array of performances that filled everyone’s heart with patriotic fervour. A talk show that shared various aspects of Indian Constitution enhanced the awareness of the students present. The school echoed with mellifluous singing as everyone joined the harmonious school choir when they sang a Patriotic medley to showcase their love for the Motherland Patriotic. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for their motherland through beautiful and colourful tableau that portrayed the diverse cultures of our country. The tableau of different states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Bengal gave the audience a quick glance of the rich heritage of these states and also their popular folk dances and traditions. The presentation attracted the entire assembly and was teremendously applauded. This was followed by a sensitizing street play ”Beti Bachao Beti Paraho” based on the pressing need to educate the girls for the progress of the nation. The thought provoking performance garnered enormous appreciation. The Ryanites also presented a heart throbbing dance on a patriotic number to multiply the ecstasy of the day and also highlight the importance of the day in the life of every Indian. Active participation of the students gave a glimpse of their patriotic fervour towards the country. The festive spirit of the day was further enhanced when Ryanites were also crowned as kings and queens for their talents exhibited in different fields all through the year. These students lived a proud moment with their parents as they were felicitated for their achievements in the academic session 2014-15 under various categories like : All Rounder, Excellence in Academics, Scientific Inclination, Maths Whiz Kid, Nimble Feet, Nightingale, Oratory Skill, Avid Reader and Technology Savy. The esteemed guest Ms. Poonam “MCG Councillor of Sector-31” motivated the students through his inspiring words and motivated them to lead an inspiring life and emerge as effective leaders of tomorrow. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma extended her heartfelt gratitude towards the guests, parents and the students and concluded by saying that motive to celebrate this day was to make the students understand the essence of our Constitution and stimulate their minds to abide by their duties before they claim their rights. -

RYAN WINTER FIESTA
The School organized ‘Winter Fiesta’ on 23rd January 2016 to celebrate the beauty of the winter season and euphoria of being an Indian. The fiesta was also an effective medium to give the Ryanites an exposure to the world of Business Industry and Trading. With Republic Day round the corner the theme of the event was ‘Being an Indian ‘and the entire school was decorated with buntings in the colours of the National Flag. The entire school staff participated in the carnival, which had something to offer for everyone. The Fiesta was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Suraj Pal Amu, BJP Spokesperson, Haryana and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The ‘Winter Carnival’ attracted phenomenal footfall and excited children with gleeful smiles could be seen around the school campus. There were fun filled joy rides, attractive games, flea market, magic show, fun filled experiments to discover the secrets of Science, Tambola and of course the food court to enjoy. Children were amused by the thrilling rides and various games like Lucky Seven, Lucky Key, Ring the Duckling, Dream Castle, Count and Win, Hoopla and many more while their parents shopped at the flea market that had an array of things at sale. Little ones thoroughly enjoyed the magic show and were completely awed by the tricks shown by the skillful magician. A painting competition and dance competition were also organized to quench the creative minds. The children wrote slogans and designed posters expressing their love for the Motherland in the Art Expression competition- ‘ Colour Splash’ and also performed some rocking dance moves on popular patriotic numbers in the dance competition- ‘ Rhythmic Steps ‘ . A’ Baby Show’ was also organized to keep the little ones engaged. The ‘Baby Show’ got some cute participants who were judged on the basis of their health, smile and overall personality. All the winners and even the participants were suitably rewarded.The food court had variety of delectable and lip smacking cuisines to satisfy all kinds of palates. The primary attraction of the carnival was the ‘Lucky Draw’ which had numerous appealing and irresistible prizes to win. Prizes were also given to the ‘Best Decorated Game Stall’ and ‘Highest Revenue Collection Stall’. The live Rock Band comprising of budding musicians from the school fascinated the onlookers and was tremendously applauded. The event was a great success and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma profusely thanked the Chief Guest & parents for their support and cooperation. The Fiesta highlighted visionary Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F Pinto’s motto of creating a balance between education and co-curricular activities to provide the Ryanites an opportunity for holistic development. The Winter Fiesta gave the students an opportunity to soak themselves in merry making while spending some quality time with their family and friends. -

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
The School organized a special assembly to mark the festival of joy and happiness: ‘Christmas’. The school was privileged to have Rev. John M Philip as the guest of honour. A wave of joy and celebration was evident in the whole school as it was adorned and decorated with handcrafted bells, glittering Christmas trees, colourful candles and sparkling red socks. This further added to the beauty and significance of the day and also to the festive spirit. The school celebrated the festival with gaiety and much aplomb. The day began by reading verses from the holy Bible and singing songs in the praise of the Lord. Students of class III put forth their opinion on the topic ‘Christmas – A festival of joy and celebration’ in a thought provoking declamation, while Ryanites of class IV presented a mesmerizing Nativity Play depicting the birth of the savior - Lord Jesus Christ. The school reverberated with carols that were mellifluously sung by the melodious school choir and zealous students. The ecstatic ‘Christmas Bash’ dance presented by the over enthusiastic students of class II enhanced the splendor of the charming celebration. The revered guest and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma, on the glorious occasion, also felicitated the little Ryanites of class II who participated in a painting competition, on the topic ‘Dussehra Scene’, organized by Hindustan Times and emerged as winners. The great celebration and students’ efforts were profusely appreciated by the guest and he wished the soulful Ryanites a happy and glorious future. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of cake that brought gleeful smiles on the faces of beaming students. The revelry and merry making definitely ignited the feeling of festive spirit amongst all and emphasized the fact that one should share the happiness and all that God has provided to bring joy and prosperity to the world. The School Head Ms Peeya Sharma congratulated the Ryanites for their beautiful presentations in the special assembly. She emphasized that they must always follow the commandments of the Almighty Lord and the 12 vision points laid down by respected Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. The School held its Annual Sports Meet ‘Fastrax- Play for India’ on 12th December 2015 with grandeur and immense fervor. The students also sang a peppy song welcome song, with joyful lips and smiling faces in the honour of the guests. The day’s activities kicked off with the Flag hoisting ceremony which was administered by the Guests of honour ACP Dhaarna Yadav, Crime against women in Gurgaon, Lieutenant Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal(Vishisht Sewa Medalist) and the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. This was followed by a well synchronized March Past by the cabinet members, sports achievers and thefour houses; namely Mahatma Gandhi House, Indira Gandhi house, Sarojini Naidu House and Jawahar Lal Nehru House. School Sports Minister Riya Bambhoo and Master Prateek Rathi carried out the oath taking ceremony . It was a solemn moment as the Ryanites pledged to play fair and with discipline . The guests ACP Dhaarna Yadav, Crime against women in Gurgaon, Lieutenant Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal(Vishisht Sewa Medalist)and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma then declared the meet open by releasing the balloons , igniting the excitement and spirit of sportsmanship. The event mascot ‘Sprinty – the cheetah’ could be seen cheering the students. His presence signified speed, concentration and action and made the environment lively. The track events included Hoopla Ring Race, Skipping Race, Collect the cone race , sack race, relay race and the most exciting discuss throw. Along with the racing and athletics marvel the agile students of class I presented an endearing Global Indian Aerobics drill which was hugely appreciated by all. Ryanites from class II also charmed the audience with a perfectly synchronized Bumbell drill. The formation of pyramid by the brave hearts from classes VII and VIII was overwhelmingly received by the audience and was phenomenally applauded. The flawless karate act by the courageous karate experts from Ryan kept the audience on the edge of their seat and received a thunderous applaud. The pique of the day was the lazium dance that gave the audience a glimpse of the ‘Incredible India’. The dancers exhibited intense energy and dexterous while they moved to the rhythmic beats. Students from Anubhav also participated in the Sports meet with great zeal and ran in 100 mtr race. All the winners were awarded with medals and certificates by the various dignitaries present on the occasion. A special mention was given to the shining ‘Sports Stars’ of the school and they were felicitated on the day. The Grand finale included the announcements of the ‘ Winning House Trophy and the ground ruptured into a rearing applaud as Sarojini Naidu house clinched the prestigious title. Students excitement knew no limit when their parents participated in the special races designed for them. They cheered their parents to the finishing line and applauded their enthusiasm . School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma profusely thanked the guests and entire gathering for their presence, encouragement and support. Fastrax –Play for India gave the budding athletes from a Ryan a platform to display their hardwork and dedication. It highlighted Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s vision of developing students interest in sports and achieving international acclaims for the country. The event motivated the Ryanites to nurture and cherish stamina, speed, strength, skill and positive spirit to outshine in the field of athletics and sports. -

Inter Play School 'Sports Day Meet'
: The Montessori Wing of the School organized Inter Play School “ Sports Day Meet” on 5th December 2015. The event provided a platform to the young aspirants to prove their mettle in sports. Many Play schools such as Kingdom of Kids; KidZee, Sector – 14; Mother’s Touch; Pogo Play School; Apple Garden Pre Nursery; Roots and Wings; R.S.K Convent; A.B.C. Blocks; Phulwari Kidz, Kinder Care; Holy Heart Preparatory; Flying Birds and The Rainbow participated zestfully. The day began by invoking Lord’s blessings through Bible reading and prayer. This was followed by the chorus presentation of Prayer songs & Welcome songs by the young Ryanites. The students of Montessori III F & G presented a scintillating dance on the song - 'We are the Champions' to revive the sports spirit. Children displayed their athletic side by participating in various races such as : String the Beads , Stick the flower, Pack the bag, Lemon & Spoon and Hurdle Race under various age groups. The achievers were rewarded & certified. The show stopper was the “Fancy Dress Competition” where the participants, represented their schools dressed in the attire of various sports teams, such as: cricket, football, badminton and more. Apple Garden Pre Nursery School, dressed in the attire of Indian Cricket Team, was adjudged the winner of the Fancy Dress competition; while the Kinder Care School lifted the ‘Overall Winner Trophy’. The event was well applauded & admired by the viewers. They appreciated the efforts put forth by the school and were glad to be a part of such fun filled activity. The event concluded with a heartwarming Vote of Thanks by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma where she insisted on including sports as a vital part of the curriculum as it provides a Healthy Body, Mind and ultimately a Healthy Nation. Along with stressing the need to give sports a vital place in life , the event provided the institution an opportunity to build healthy and strong relationship with some eminent play schools in the city. Celebrated Children's Day
The School celebrated Children’s Day with great pomp and splendour on 16th November 2015. Children being the God’s great creation and the true messengers of peace and harmony deserve a grand celebration to celebrate the childhood and so the teachers and school head conducted a special assembly to celebrate the marvelous occasion. The day began by thanking the Lord Almighty for the wonderful gift of children and their innocence. The teachers also prayed for the good health and bright future of every child as they behold the future of the country. The children were entertained and were motivated to donate goodies to the underprivileged children through a well staged skit by the talented group of teachers. This was followed by a parody of peppy songs which got the children singing along melodiously in tune with their teachers. The foot tapping music put the students in a frenzy of enthusiasm and the school echoed with their bubbly laughter and cheerful singing. The audience also witnessed a small presentation on Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru in the form of a ‘Talk Show’ which was followed by a quiz where the young Ryanites answered a few questions related to their beloved Chacha Nehru. Teachers of classes I and II also presented a Dance Drama that highlighted the importance of discipline in students’ life. The teachers from Montessori wing then staged a skit to tell the students all about the important events that occurred in the life of India’s First Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and how he worked relentlessly for the freedom and growth of the nation. On the special occasion our honourable Chairman Dr. A.F.Pinto and managing Director Madam Grace Pinto sent their warm wishes for the future leaders of tomorrow to motivate them and guide them to lead a life of dignity and success with all the richness of good values. The class teachers distributed cards, sweets and goodies among the students in their respective classes and engaged them in fruitful enjoyable and funfilled activities. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma urged the children to follow the footsteps and the path shown by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and strive to accomplish any task with their heads held high. -

The School conducted the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the students of class II and IV for the excellent work done in the year 2014-15. The ceremony showcased the efforts of the school in making future leaders by instilling in them confidence, discipline and leadership qualities. The guests of honour for the programme Mr. Neeraj Joshi(Chief Marketing Officer, Paluck Technologies) and Captain Ranbir Singh(Executive Pilot) were welcomed by the students in five languages which was followed by the melodious welcome songs by the Choir group. It was a proud moment for all the achievers as they received certificates and badges for their excellence in various spheres like Ryan Scholar, All rounder student, Oratory skills, Avid reader Scientific skills, Mathematical Inclination, Singing Skills, Rhythmic steps and Techno Savy. The 100% Attendance Award was also bestowed upon the students who made an effort to attend the school without taking a single holiday for the whole session. The presence of the parents in the ceremony was really motivational for the students. The students gave a marvelous Mime Presentation ‘Action Speak Louder Than Words’ which portrayed the importance as well as our dependence on the mobile phones in the modern era. The beautiful presentation by using only the expressions without the words really captivated the audience. A mesmerizing talk show and demonstration on the importance of Road Safety Measures was also staged by the students. A Rajasthani dance Cultural Feast depicting the rich culture of the state stole everyone’s heart. The guests whole heartedly praised the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue work with same enthusiasm and zeal. The School Head Ms Peeya Sharma congratulated all the awardees and motivated them to go ahead in the race of life with ‘never to die spirit’. -

The programme began with the pinning of badges and plantation by the guests followed by the bible reading and prayer songs. The guests of honour were felicitated by potted plants by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma and Council members. Students of class II welcomed the guests in five different languages followed by the melodious welcome songs by the choir group. It was a proud moment for all the achievers when they received certificates and badges for their excellent performance in various spheres like Ryan scholar, Oratory skills, Avid reader, Scientific skills, Mathematical Skills and Dramatics. All rounder’s category and 100% attendance. An inspiring presentation of Chairman Sir’s Nine riches – ‘Precious Jewels’ presented by the students of class II. Prof. Biman Bihari Das, Padmashri recipient year 2014 appreciated school’s outstanding contribution in nurturing future leaders of tomorrow. Glimpses of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies was showcased by class I in form of an enthralling dance drama ‘Truth always Triumph’s ’ which had all parents and guests full of praise. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma thanked all the parents and guests for encouraging the young achievers and congratulated all the awardees and motivated them to go ahead in life with ‘never to die spirit.’ The programme ended with the by giving thank you note and by singing National Anthem. -

RECREATIONAL TRIP TO AAPNO GHAR
The School organized a recreational trip to Aapno Ghar amusement park for the Montessori students on 31st October, 2015. As the visibly excited students entered the premises of the park, they were served a sumptuous breakfast. After having eaten their heart’s content, the tiny tots moved to the exhilarating rides. The students enjoyed to the hilt as they tried out various exciting rides like Caterpillar, Toy Train , Airplane ride, Sea saw, puppet show, Dragon Ride, Ladder climbing, Tug of war and dance games on DJ. By midday, their stomachs were rumbling so the students headed to feast on a hearty and delicious lunch which consisted of everyone’s favorite rajma chawal. The toddlers rested for a while after the lunch to charge themselves for their next activity-DJ time. The tiny dancers showcased their exceptional dancing skills as they danced energetically to the foot-tapping music. Some even won exciting prizes which brought big happy smiles on their faces. As the students boarded the bus with pretty souvenirs, they took along with them sweet memories of a day well spent. -

Chairman Sir's Visit on 12th October 2015
The School felt honoured with the gracious presence of Chairman Sir Dr. A.F. Pinto on 12th October 2015. Revered Chairman Sir was welcomed and ushered by the school President Ms. Angela Sareen and prime Minister Ms. Malisha Bhardwaj along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma midst huge round of applause. The School Band gave respected Chairman Sir a guard of honour while the junior band played rhythmic tunes of joy. Sir was then led by the School President and Prime Minister to see the grand presentation by the various clubs envisaged in accordance his 12 vision points. All the clubs through their presentations gave Sir a brief insight about the tasks and projects being undertaken by their respective clubs. Sir also inaugurated the new Solar light installed in the school premises as an attempt to conserve the environment. Chairman Sir also launched ‘Roogle’ a Ryan Search Engine designed by the Techno savy Ryanites and ‘Roogle’ a game ‘Bot Escape’. Students also gifted Sir the very first copy of the self composed poems in the form of a book called ‘Rhythmic Recital’. The school had also organised a special assembly to mark the visit. The assembly commenced with prayers. Students read verses from the holy Bible and prayed for Sir’s healthy and prosperous life. Prayer songs were sung with great enthusiasm and excitement amongst the students was evident with their smiling faces. The students also sang a patriotic medley with immense zeal. Students of class I and II enthralled Sir and the assembly with a presentation on the ‘Nine Riches’. They perceived the nine riches as the nine jewels that dazzled in king Akbar’s Court and helped him solve all the problems. Thereafter the cheerful girls displayed their dancing skills with a Gujrati dance. Their synchronized ‘Garbha’ steps garnered much appreciation and praise. What followed next, held the audience captive. The students of dramatics club presented a gripping mime enactment that showcased growing influence of mobile phones in our lives and its ill effects . The act was received with thunderous applaud and was liked by all. The Ryanites from class V presented a Bible enactment based on the value of the Month ‘Contentment’. Chairman Sir in his address to the gathering appreciated the phenomenol talent showcased by all the students and expressed his desire to see the Ryanites climb the ladder of success and outshine in every field. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma and the students and staff expressed their Gratitude for his visit as his presence is always very motivating. GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION
The School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great fervor and enthusiasm to mark the 146th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. The occasion was graced by Mr. Mahender Singh, Chief Editor, Naya Khulasha (Periodical). Ryanites read bible verses and special prayer for the nation. Students of class III presented Gandhiji’s ideology as depicted by three monkeys. The young buds of class II presented a nukkad natak to add to the patriotic fervor. The Ryanites expressed through their remarkable performance, that non violence is the best way to achieve social and political change. The school choir song patriotic and melodious bhajans of Mahatma Gandhi. The assembly was well woven that lead everyone to the world of peace without any violence which was envisaged by Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation. The guest of Honour Mr. Mahender Singh appreciated the students efforts and motivated them to be future torch bearers leading our country to greater heights and glories. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma encouraged the students to be good citizen of India and inculcate the nature of unity and brotherhood. -

GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated Grandparents Day’ on 26th September 2015. The event was witnessed by the grandparents of Montessori students. The day began by invoking Lord’s blessings through bible reading and Prayer. This was followed by prayer songs and welcome song. The budding Ryanites of Montessori I presented a Dance on ‘Nani Teri Morni….’and ‘Dadi Amma Dadi Amma’ . The students of Montessori III presented a Grandparents song which was a flashback of childhood with grandparents. It was pleasure and delight to see the Grandparents participating enthusiastically in one minute Game. The Childlike spirit was well reflected in them. The event was planned to strengthen the bond between the grandparents and their young angels. The show stopper of the event was “Antakshari” which made them sing and dance on the “Oldie-Goldie” songs of their era. Their growing years only seemed to have enhanced their lively spirit. The elderly guests expressed their immense pleasure and happiness and appreciated visions of Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATION
The School marked the Hindi Diwas on 14th September by organizing a special assembly on the occasion. The celebration once again proclaimed Hindi as the national language of Democratic India and people’s love for their mother tongue. The guests of honour Dr. Yogesh Vashisth (State Head of All India Literature Council) and Mrs. Tanu Bhardwaj (Language Expert - SCERT) graced the momentous occasion. Keeping in sync with the Ryan tradition, the guests along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma, planted Neem and Ashoka saplings in the school premises. The guests were welcomed by the enthusiastic students with a melodious song and a heartfelt welcome speech. This was followed by a skit in Hindi on the topic ‘ Hindi ka Navjivan’ by the little buds from class II. The skit emphasized the need to revive the love for language amongst the masses. The foot tapping dance by the energetic troupe of dancers from class I added warmth to the day’s celebration and reemphasized their love for the Hindi language. The students from class III then declamed on the topic ‘Hindi, Hamare Mathe ki Bindi’ to express their respect for the mother tongue and the desire to make it the most widely used language in the entire world.The pique of the assembly was the ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’ presented by the young poets from classes IV and V. The superb recitation of the amazingly humorous poems mesmerized the audience and left them craving for more. The school reverberatedwith the soft giggles and joyful laughters of the audience. The young Ryanites then beautifully chanted the dohas of the great poets Kabir and Rahim and even explained the meanings which revealed their affinity for poetry. Students also presented a graceful Rajasthani folk dance on the occasion highlighting India’s rich culture and heritage. Students of classes VI to VIII also demonstrated their love for Hindi in a Heart warming way and pledged to help it grow and become popular. The guests were overwhelmed to see the endeavours of the students praised them wholeheartedly. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma appreciated the efforts put in by each and every student and motivated them to follow Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
The school believes that teachers are like second parent to each and every child. Teachers are the ones who nurture and guide students through all phases of life. Keeping this thought in mind a Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great aplomb and enthusiasm. All the teachers looked their best dressed up in elegant ethnics. A special assembly was organized for the teachers by school cabinet and students. Tiny tots of Montessori expressed their innocent love and respect for teachers through an interactive talk show and wonderful role play. The assembly began with the School Head, reading Managing Director madam’s Teacher’s Day Message. Students of I and II also presented an apprising talk show on Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Through their talk show students emphasized the significant and epochal role of teachers in lives of children. The school council presented a mesmerizing dance show which left everyone applauding for their wonderful performance. Various fun games were organized for teachers which were thoroughly enjoyed by all the teachers. Teachers also participated in Glam Fashion Show and showcased their skills on the Ramp. Shayari Show ‘ Wah Wah Kya Baat Hai’ was the highlight of the celebrations. All the teachers were highly impressed by the flawless and energetic performance of students and thanked them for organizing a spectacular show displaying honest love and respect of students for their teachers. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma also addressed the gathering and shared heartfelt notes with teachers. She emphasized on the significant role of teachers and the distinguished position held by teachers in our society. She complimented all the teachers for their hard work and encouraged them to strive for golden future. Celebrated Chairman Sir’s Birthday
The School celebrated the Founder’s Day on 28th August, with much enthusiasm and grandeur. The school was buzzing with excitement as the Ryanites adorned vibrant smiles and colourful caps to celebrate Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto’s birthday with a special assembly Ms. Chitralekha Sharma , (Additional Director, Home Ministry) and Mr. Suresh Sharma (Founder – Jai Hind Manch) were invited to witness the celebration and be the guests of honour. The assembly began with a special prayer for Chairman Sir’s long, healthy and prosperous life. The students sang a peppy birthday song and the school reverberated with their joyful singing. As chairman Sir’s visualises Ryanites to be the leaders of tomorrow, and active environmentalist’s the event comprised of a role play on various eminent personalities whose ideas and ideologies have always inspired the masses, which was followed by an enlightening skit that highlighted the need to preserve the environment and nurture it for generations to come. Plantation drives in over 40 locataions in Gurgaon includes CRPF academy, Fortis Hospital, Commissioner’s Office, Kanhai village to name few was done by the Ryanites. The Bible Enactment based on one of the ‘Nine Jewels’, Chairman Sir’s which believes is the essence of every Ryanite, showcased the need to live in harmony and be the messengers of peace. The assembly culminated with a well synchronised dance evoking the spirit of patriotism. The compassionate Ryanites also went to orphanages to celebrate the occasion and bring smile on the faces of the children there. They visited Zion social welfare society, Anandashram and Mother Teresa Missionaries of Charity and made the day a memorable one for the little angels there. Ryanites donated toiletries like bottle of shampoo, soaps, tooth brush and tooth pastes along with cakes, sweets and juices. The celebration did justice to Chairman Sir’s vision to see the Ryanites grow physically, spiritually and emotionally and contribute to the welfare of society by being responsible citizens. The guests and the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma applauded the efforts put in by all the students to make the occasion a memorable one. She also motivated them to work in sync with chairman Sir’s twelve vision points and help make the country progress and be at helm. -

She has written books on all the genre Fantasy Historical, mythological and adventure Talking about principles in children’s writing she talked about was she loved writing the stories with happy endings. She gave a tips on creative writing to children and made the session intresting by reciting a poem. Rally on Environment Awareness
The School organised a rally to promote Environment friendly approach amongst the people. The rally was conducted near Central Mall, Gurgaon by the students of Montessori. The Little Ryanites carried slogans to convey their thoughts and beliefs with conviction. Some slogans carried beautiful pictorial messages while others theme based thought provoking messages. The little ones not only shouted slogans in chorus but also interacted with the crowd. They urged everyone to plant more and more tress as our very existence is because of trees. They distributed environment friendly bookmarks to the visitors so that this small token helps them to stay focussed and inspires them all the time. The onlookers applauded the school’s and students efforts towards this strong cause. And vowed to extend all support to make a difference in the society at large. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma appreciated the efforts put in by the little Ryanites to bring about positive reforms in the society. The School celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. A team of talented dancers performed in Ambience Mall Gurgaon to make the day more eventful. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The School celebrated the 69th Independence Day with much aplomb and splendor on 15th August in the school premises. The day began with flag hoisting and National Anthem followed by the grand March Past by the 4 school houses; Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahtama Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Indira Gandhi, School Cabinet and the School Band reverberating the environment with the patriotic beats. by the singing of the National Anthem which were wonderful and solemn moments. The chief guest Mr. Rajesh Kumar , HPS (ACP – Crime) took the salute, along with the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The grand Assembly celebration began with Bible Reading followed by the prayer for the Nation. The guests Mr. Rajesh Kumar , HPS (ACP – Crime) Ms. Deepa Antil - President of SASHAKT NARI PARISHAD (SNP), Mr. Yaspal Batra - Deputy Mayor Mr. Vimal Raj Sharma ( Vice-President, Supply Chain Planning, Pepsico India), Mr. Parvesh Yadav (Secretary of Bar Council Punjab and Haryana Chandigarh) were felicitated with the potted plant in keeping the Ryan tradition. The enthusiastic students welcomed the guests by Welcome Speech in five Indian languages. The Ryanites expressed their patriotism through a medley of patriotic songs complimented with rhythmic expression, a mesmerizing skit based on the struggle of the freedom movement –‘’Spirit of India’’ ,a picturesque dance drama,’’ Bhagat Singh-The Legendary Hero’’ and an enthralling dance performance- “Flag of India’’. The pique of the show was the formation of the Tricolor Flag during the dance dipped in the patriotic spirit. Such Patriotic performances created a sense of nationality among the students and parents. It was followed by a special street play arranged by the students of class VI on the topic “My Great India” which portrayed the greatness of India and encouraged the students to pledge to become good citizens. The meritorious students of class IV were felicitated by the guests with badges and certificates by the guests and the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The awards were conferred for various categories – Ryan Scholars Award for Excellence in Academics, Oratory Skills Award, All Round Best Student Award, Nimble Feet Award for Dance, Nightingale Award for singing, Avid Readers Award, Scientific Inclination Award, Maths Whiz Kid Award and Technology savy Award. It was a joyous moment for the students as well as the parents. The students interacted with the guests and were motivated with words of wisdom by them. They advised the students to follow their dreams and be what they wanted to be and bring glory to the country. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma congratulated the Ryanites and encouraged them to reach higher peaks of victory. Awareness Cycle Rally on Environment
The School organized an awareness cycle rally for environment on the streets of Sector-31 to sector 40. The young Ryanites, with a view to create and spread awareness for environment took part in the rally with full zeal and zest. They stressed on the use of riding cycles instead of motorbikes to put an attention towards saving the non-renewable sources of energy. Keeping in view the vision for Environment given by their Chairman Sir, Dr. A.F.Pinto and the zealous Ryanites strived for the campaign. The Rally’s was flagged off by RWA President of Sector 31, Mr. Maan and an enthusiastic start to the awareness rally was given. The rally was really a mark of teamwork and farsightedness for saving the environment. It caught the attention of every passerby and people were ought to give a thought for creating a better and pollution free environment. The cycles with balloons and tricolors ribbons attracted the crowd of each and every age and encouraged by the enlightening words of the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The coverage of Rally by police for security purposes was also a praiseworthy contribution by Gurgaon Police. She congratulated her Ryanites for their unique gesture of spreading awareness towards environment. She talked about the hive and cries of city’s pollution and emphasized on the importance and need of a greener Gurgaon. Environment Day Celebration-Class III-V
The School organized a special assembly to mark the Environment day on 24th July 2015. The day’s celebration aimed at pressing need of saving our environment. It was a day to share the efforts put by our school to save the nature around us. The guest of honour Shri. Shri. Somvir Singh (Regional Manager of ICICI Bank) and Mr. Atul Sharma Treasure, Jai Hind Manch Rashtriya Parishad commenced the event by planting neem saplings in school premises which is a step taken by Ryan Group Of Institutions to do its bit to save our mother earth. The Programme started with the Bible reading and prayer songs by the choir group. Students of class V welcomed the guests of honour in five different languages. Followed by felicitation by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. A skit was presented by the students of class IV “Giving a Greener Touch” through which students focused on mobilizing people to create a sustainable and healthy environment. The flawless performance of the students made the highlight of the day. The event also comprised of an apprising report by Environment Club of our school. The young Ryanties updated everyone about the contributions made by the school to save the environment. They also enlightened about the various competitions held to create eco-awareness among students. “Should polluting environment be a punishable crime” was the topic of debate presented by the students of Class V which inspired everyone to promote harmony with nature. The day became more special when our School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma and Honorable Guest felicitated the winners of debate as a part of environment day celebration. The day ended with enthralling and heartwarming dance performance by the young buds. Their rhythmic steps added with nature. The celebration of the day reverberated our Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine. F. Pinto’s vision of saving and creating a healthy environment. Environment Day Celebration- Class I & II
The school celebrated environment day with great enthusiasm and fervour. Students of Class I and II put up a fabulous show in the special assembly to celebrate environment day. The guests of honour were Ms. Poonam Bhatnagar (Leader of BJP and Director of NGO, Deepshikha) and Shri. Rajesh Sharma. The day commenced with the pinning of badges and plantation of Ashoka Sapling by guests. Special prayers were offered for the cleanliness of the environment. The guests were welcomed in five different languages and felicitated with green neem sapling by the School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma followed by a plethora of performances dedicated to the environment. Students of class II presented a skit “Giving the Greener Touch” which was an eye opener for the guests and students and conveyed that every effort big or small would help to save the environment. Students of the Environment club then updated the audience with the Environment Report wherein the students proudly told about the projects accomplished by the school to save our environment in this direction and the effort put in each and every Ryanite . Students of class – I displayed their oratory skills through a declamation competition on the topic “Save the World and Make it a Better Place”. Winners of the Inter Class Declamation Competition of Class I were awarded by the Guest of Honour by Ms. Poonam Bhatnagar and School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. A mesmerizing dance drama “Rhythmic steps” by the students of class I was well appreciated and applauded by the audience. Winners of the Intra Class declamation competition – class II were felicitated by Mr. Rajesh Sharma and by School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The guest addressed the students and motivated the Ryanties to carry on the noble endeavour of saving the environment. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma motivated the students and called upon them to make united efforts for the Protection of the environment. Plantation Drive at Commissioner Office
The school organised a tree plantation drive in Gurgaon at Commissioner Office on 21st July 2015. The tree plantation was done by the school Cabinet Council.The event was graced by the Commissioner of Police Gurgaon, Mr. Navedeep Singh Virk and ACP, Rajesh Kumar .Mr. Navedeep Singh Virk and ACP Mr. Rajesh Kumar inaugurated the event by planting saplings followed by the plantation done by the school council. The green venture was a great success as the Commissioner and people of police departmententhusiastically participated in the plantation drive and promised to maintain these saplings as well as the other trees in the office by regularly watering them and taking care of the soil. The school environment minister briefed the officers about the importance of such ventures and promised them that the school would conduct more green endeavours in their office. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma thanked the Commissioner of Police Mr. Navedeep Singh Virk and their officers for their support. Plantation Drive at CRPF Camp
Students of Ryan International School, Sector – 40, Gurgaon went on a Plantation Drive to CRPF Camp, Kadarpur as a part of their G-12 Activity. Environment is one of the vision points of Dr. A.F Pinto, chairman Ryan Group of Institutions who believes in Protecting the Environment by growing more and more saplings for a cleaner, Healthier and better tomorrow. The students of Class V – D were part of the Green Drive. Sapling of Flowering Plants, Neem Saplings, Ashoka Saplings were planted. The deputy Commandants of the Academy Neeraj Rathore graced the occasion by his presence. He interacted with the students and planted the saplings with them. After the plantation the students went to their auditorium and watched a short movie about CRPF. The movie filled the feeling of Patriotism in the students and felt proud of the men who take care of the violence within the country. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma praised the efforts of the students and encouraged them to take care of their environment. She also motivated the students to keep the environment Clean and Green. -

Celebrated Ryan Sir's Birthday
The School celebrated its dear CEO, Mr. Ryan Pinto birthday with much aplomb and grandeur. The excitement was evident as all the Ryanites adorned birthday caps and held colorful balloons to celebrate the occasion. The special assembly, organized to mark the momentous day began with reading verses from the Holy Bible and praying for beloved CEO, Mr. Ryan Pinto’s good health, happiness and success. The school echoed with the birthday song, sung with deep felt emotions, and reverberated with joyous claps. The students also staged a talk show highlighting the qualities that leaders hold and told about the traits that distinguish a leader from a follower, quoting the example of Mr. Ryan Pinto. Arnav Kaushik dressed as the CEO, presented a role play throwing light on Mr. Ryan Pinto’s life and innovative thinking. School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma expressed her heartfelt wishes on the day and encouraged the Ryanites to follow CEO, Mr. Ryan Pinto’s example to be the leaders of tomorrow and work to bring about a positive change in the society, country and the world at large. -

Investiture Ceremony
The school held its Investiture ceremony for the set of newly elected council members, who were ready to take the mantle of responsibility. This was the day when the officially elected members were encouraged with the leadership qualities, self reliance and dedication. The day began with Bible Reading and special prayers specially conducted for the new council members. The achievements of pervious year 2014-2015 were highlighted and shared by the school President Ms. Ananya Mishra. The most awaited Oath taking ceremony was solemnly executed under the administration of School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma. The appointed cabinet ministers were honoured with their badges and scarves by the esteemed guests Sh. Gopi Chand Gehlot Ji (Ex. Deputy Speaker of Haryana) and Poonam Bhatnagar. The school Prime Minister Mst. Yuvraj Sisodia spoke about the future plans and responsibility they have to take as a future leader. The Students discovered the colors of cultural feast by tapping their feet to the beats of Dandia. An informative skit was performed by the students based on “Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan’ The Cabinet Members were ignited by the thoughts of our esteemed guests. They motivated the students by highlighting the importance of such ceremony which develops the skill and mind of human being with leadership qualities. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma was enthralled with the efforts made by the students, she was overwhelmed to see the spirit of today’s missionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. Mother's Day Celebration
The School celebrated Mother’s day to express gratitude to lord Almighty for his most wondrous gift to children – ‘Mother’. A plethora of activities was designed to pay a tribute to that most important and lovable person, ‘Mother’. To celebrate the occasion the students of Montessori wing designed colorful cards with heart warming messages for their ever doting mommies. To enhance the joy a fashion cum Talent show ‘Mom you are my heart beat was also organized on 2nd May 2015. The fashionista mothers waked the ramp in dazzling attires with much poise and grace and impressed the judge Mr. Ankur Schroff, the founder of SPEC London – AV House Fashion and with their talent and w answers Ms. Aditi walked away with the ‘Wow Mom’ crown with her little princess Arshia winning the “Super Kid’ title. The school had also organized a ‘ Mother’s Recipe’ contest where in the very health conscious mothers donned the chef’s cap and laid out mouth watering and high on nutrition dishes. The guest of honour Mr. Vikrant Srivastava from Yum India crowned Ms. Vandana with the ‘Super Chef Mom’ title. -

Earth Day Celebration
The School organised a special assembly to mark the Earth day celebration on 22nd April 2015. The day’s celebrations aimed at highlighting the pressing needs of our planet and how small changes can bring positive change in the world. The guest of honour Ms. Pragaya Sharma General Secretary, Aqua Foundation and Mr. Atanu Choudhary Senior Licensing Executive Worldwide for Microsoft commenced the event by planting a sapling in school premises while upholding the true spirit of the day. Students of class IV presented a very enlightening and thought provoking skit – “If we Litter the future will be bitter”. The convincing and flawless performance of the students made the highlight of the day. Arush singh presented his precious thoughts on the topic ‘Nuture the Nature for better future’ very persuasively. The event also comprised of an apprising report by ‘Environment Club’ of our school.The enthusiastic Ryanties updated everyone present about the contributions made by our school under the able guidance of respected chairman sir Dr. A. F. Pinto , towards water conservation and environment protection. They also enlightened about the rallies and various competitions held to create eco awareness among students. The day became more special when school head Ms. Peeya Sharma and honourable guest felicitated winners of declamation and extempore competitions held as a part of Earth Day celebrations. Heritage Day Celebration
The school celebrated the World Heritage Day to make students realize its significance and the need to cherish and conserve the heritage. Keeping in tune with the same, Ryanites found an opportunity to show their pride in the rich heritage through a special assembly on the day. The day began by reading verses from the holy bible. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of Mr. A.S. Ghosh, renowned theatre film Director of Abracadabra and Music Composer, to the school. The programme witnessed an assortment of activities about our cultural legacy which was finely blended with an assurance to preserve it. The young Ryanites participated exuberantly in the skit ‘Gateway of India’ which expressed the significance of the monuments and the need to preserve them for the future generation. The Heritage Club of the school presented the Annual club report with glimpses of various activities which took place for the whole year. The multimedia report with dramatization and pictorial representation was indeed enthralling and gave a colourful insight into the regional customs and traditional forth the multi colored culture of our land. Mesmerising Gujarati dance presented by the students in vibrant attire was a feast to the eye. This was followed by skit by class VI- VIII “ How to case of our movement and an information declamation competition on Incredible India. The programme was fully enjoyed by the audience. Montessori Graduation Ceremony
The school held its Montessori Graduation Ceremony "World of Joy" on 21st March 2015 at Epicenter, Gurgaon with much grandeur. The event witnessed the excitement of the little Ryanites as they expressed the joy and happiness which they experience in their school, Ryan International while learning and growing in the conducive environment. These feelings were even reciprocated by Snow White and the Seven Drawls who also happened to visit the gleeful and joyous world of Ryan International School. The day also witnessed the graduation of 381 Montessori students to class I. The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through the Bible Reading and Prayer songs. Excursion to Camp Farmstead
The School organized an adventurous excursion to Camp Farmstead for the students of class I to Class IV.The students enjoyed many activities organized for the students like Zip line, Tracking , Zorbing ball, Wall climbing, Commendo crawl, Burma Bridge, Crocodile Pit and hopscotch. -

Flower Show
The School in an Endeavour to nurture the environment and spread the fragrance and beauty that are synonyms with spring organized a FLOWER SHOW. Ryanites had a grand and colorful floral exhibits that spoke volumes about the effort put in for a greener environment and their love for nature. The young environmentalists from Ryan displayed the flowers in the formation of “RYAN” to show their respect and love. Orchids Zinmia, Nastardium, Daises, Marigold, Fuschsia, Jasmine, Dahlia were in full bloom and added to the schools vibrant atmosphere. The guests of honour Ms. Geeta Hooda, a renowned florist and Ms. Nabneeta Mazumdar were invited to judge the flowers. On the basis of presentation and health of plants. The horticulturists of the school staged a skit to spread the message for a cleaner environment. Students also presented a talk show “ Glorious Display of Bloom at Ryan” which was the limelight of the day and highlighted the school and students efforts to protect and nurture the plants around us. Excursion to Camp Tikkling
Ryan International School, Gurgaon organised an adventurous excursion to Camp Tikkling for the students of class III-VII. The camp at village Tikli was enjoyed with utmost zest and zeal by the joyous and spirited Ryanites. The trip began with the Ryan tradition of the Bible reading and a special prayer objectivated for the safe and healthy excursion . The teachers and the students were warmly welcomed at the camp with snacks and welcome drinks. The students enjoyed numerous activities like zip line tracking, zorbing ball,camel riding, tug of war,Gorila cave and ample more with a feel of complete adventure. The zealous Ryanites were not only filled with excitement during the trip but also encouraged each other to set an explicit example of a tremendous sportsmanship and incessant teamwork. -

Visit to Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park
The school organised a visit to Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy park located in Sector-29, Gurgaon for the students of Class V. Rajiv Gandhi Renewable Energy Park aims to create awareness among the different sections of society on Renewable Energy, Energy conservation, Energy efficiency and climate change related areas. Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurgaon hosted the Annual Sports Day – “Fastrax”-Play for India at Ryan International School, Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The event upheld the visionary ideals of Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and instilled discipline and confidence amongst the Ryanites. Food Bucket Challenge
The school took up the food bucket challenge to help the poor and the needy. It aimed to mobilize over one million kg of food (mainly cereals like wheat flour/gain, rice, sugar and other food items like frooty.) to be distributed to various orphanages and NGO’s. Mrs. Grace Pinto, MD Ryan International group of institution said that the initiative has been started to bring to the light the fact that if we work collectively, we can make a big difference to the lives of many.” Through this challenge the school wants the students to become agents of change and reform the society in all the possible ways. Through this initiative, Ryan group of institution pledged to reach out to 1.5 million orphanages across the country and serve the underprivileged. The trucks loaded with food items were flagged off by Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto to reach: Mother Teresa Missionaries of charity, New Delhi; Anandashram, Gurgaon; Zion Social Welfare Society, New Delhi and Holy Family Asha Niwas Social Service Centre, New Delhi. - 17th May 2013
