Winners of CBSE Science Exhibition

winners of cbse science exhibition 1 winners of cbse science exhibition 2 Dhruv Verma and Revant Sharma of class 11th B of Ryan International School, Ghaziabad participated in the National Level 2016-17 organized by CBSE which was held at N.C Jindal Public School Punjabi Bagh, Delhi from 8th to 10th February 2017. The theme of the exhibition was `Science technology and Mathematics for Nation Building’ whereas the Sub-theme of the project was `Innovation for Sustainable Environment’. 413 students from different schools of the country showcased their projects and models in the National Level Science exhibition. The Ryanites designed an Eco Cruiser, a bicycle with electrostatic precipitator using fly back transformer which increases the voltage to considerable potential difference. The air containing dust and pollutants that comes in the precipitator is converted to clean air instantly, the idea is best suited to the people who commute near the coal or other mines where air is highly polluted with SPM (suspended particulate matter) which has various health hazards. Dhruv Verma and Revant Sharma brought laurels to school as their project was selected at the National Level, they received certificate of merit for their outstanding performance with a cash prize of 3000 rupees. They were felicitated by professor Dr. C.Raj Kumar, Founding Vice-Chancellor, O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana.
