The football teams of Ryan International School, Ghaziabad participated in the Inter Ryan Football Tournament hosted by Ryan Vasant Kunj on 25th of August 2016, in order to inculcate the team spirit and sportsmanship among the students, as per the enriching guidance of the Chairman of Ryan Group of Institutions Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of the teams of RyanRohini and Ryan Ghaziabad in which U-18 boys teams showcased their sports skills. The event was graced by the august presence of the Chairman of Ryan Group of Institutions Dr. Augustine F. Pinto who witnessed the match and blessed the Ryanites with his encouraging presence. The event commenced with the Lord’s Prayer and special prayer followed by a welcome speech and felicitation of Respected Chairman Sir. Thereafter all the teams put in their monumental efforts exhibiting their team spirit, time management and sportsmanship to win the competition. The commentators, Amitabh Mishra, Ryan Phillips, Ishika Bajaj and Vanshika Gaur of class XI presented a running commentary of the match adding a zeal and zest to the tournament. The Ryanites of Ghaziabad brought laurels to the school by securing the Winner’s Trophy whereas Ryan Vasant kunj bagged the runner up position. The culmination was marked by the Prize distribution ceremony in which the proud Ryanites were felicitated with the winner’s trophy and certificates by their mentor. It was an endeavour to promote elite football talents and train players’ right from the young age by instilling fundamental skills of football and love for the game through team spirit. It was a great day for the Ryanites of Ghaziabad who were proudly elated for their achievement.
